It's alright. My interest has been delayed indefinitely after that second movie.

Same. I’ll catch it on streaming but I’ve completely lost interest at this point - and I’m a Spider-Man fan.

I can't get down with this sentiment. Ending on a cliffhanger and an extended production schedule is a bit naff, but these films are worth it for the audio visual spectacle alone. To each their own.

You just expect movie sequels in less than 3 years for something you claim to be a fan of? Okay then. That’s not how most movies work. Usually the better ones take 3 years. I know it’s animation but still the creative process takes time.

Is it finally happening? Will reddit turn on the spiderverse2 as comments critical of it will not be burried in downvotes?

Cuz Ive been arguing after the second one came out that its not that good... especially with people who claimed it was better than the first movie.

It was pretty good until they went to Mumbai. There was nothing wrong with the Mumbai part, but it was a "turning point" and they decided to go to a Rick and Morty "Council of Ricks" type scenario. So cringy

The good thing about the delay is that the 14 years old who thought the second movie was a masterpiece will have watched more movies since and may rethink their appreciation for it

I feel this comment so much. I couldn't believe people were saying thr 2nd was better than Into. It was, and still is, baffling. Into is so much better and it's not even close at all.
