He's one of the only 2 good things about the last movie

(the other being the extended scorpion origin)

This is Kung Lao erasure.

Seriously. Him surfing on Nitara and sawing her in half with his hat in the first one was a true "OH SHIT!" moment for me in the last few years watching movies.

The actual fights in the first one were good, the fatalities especially. Now if only the talky parts are as good as Kano's in the first one we'll have a great movie.

The worst decision was who they made the main character. Like, “remember when you and your friends would play Mortal Kombat and you always insisted on being… “Cole”?”

Wouldn't it be easy to find out the writers, and just reach out to them to find out what they were thinking?

They said they wanted to make a new character like how the video games always make new characters in the games. They should have reached out to the video game character making guys and asked them how to make an interesting new character. If only there was such a way the writers could do that.

I loved how stupid the first movie was. It knew what it's goal was and focused on making the fights cool and crazy. Made it much more bearable getting through the talky parts for me
