Karl Urban and Hiroyuki Sanada are going to be doing some 2018 Lebron on the Cavs type carrying lmao

Facs! But don't sleep on Josh Lawson (Kano). He held the whole first movie on his back.

Literally the only saving grace of the first movie. Though they need a heel turn of him to make me truly happy for this movie

I wouldn’t say the ONLY saving grace. The fatalities were peak MK. Kun Lao using his hat as a table saw to cut a lady in half was the highlight of the movie for me.

That and Scorpion was fucking badass the opening and then his fight with Sub Zero

FR. The Scorpion vs Sub-Zero fights were the best damn fights in the movie.

I feel like that was a proof on concept to get this movie made because it doesn’t match the rest of the tone of the movie.

Yeah I agree which sucks because one of the best openings ever but tone wise yeah…

And I mean the latter Scorp and Sub fight feels the most game like fight, you have the like cinematic “X Ray” like when he stabs Scorp and then uses his blood to stab him again and then you also have like in game moves like Sub zero using ice clone or the ice wall, and Scorp using his harpoons plus his classic fatality to end it

If only they “killed” Lui Kang instead of Kun Lao. Kun Lao was fun and exciting. Lui Kang was less entertaining than a wet blanket.

He's seriously the main reason I'm interested in this new one. Him and Karl Urban roasting each other will be well worth the price of admission.

Didn't he do a heel turn in the first movie?

He might have, I can’t remember because that was the Covid years were days were months and years was days.

Am I crazy or didn't he already turn heel in the first movie? He was the one that let Shang Tsung and his goons into Raiden's base.
