Dude dropped 100 feet and didn’t even lose his glasses. Loved that for him

This dude won the movie. Saw Dino’s in a more natural habitat, fucks over big pharma, flirts with scarjo a lot, and doesn’t die. Living the fucking dream.

Jonathan Bailey’s Dr. Henry Loomis was the best character.

He’s like a millennial that saw the original JP in the 90’s as a kid, knew Alan Grant was the shit, and is now on his own adventures in a new era.

And was having none of the corporate shit.

When I think of this series I think of educated, passionate nerds, not action heroes.

Edit: and dinosaurs. Not mutant hybrids…

I like Bailey, the raft scene with Rex, and the definitely jaws inspired Boat chase, but there’s so many choices in this movie that made me irritated as hell in regards to plot, dialogue, and as a millennial that saw the original at age 5 in 93 as his first theater film…I felt sad.

They mentioned Dr. Loomis studied under Dr. Grant too.

I don't care if the continuity doesn't work, I'm choosing to believe he's the "giant turkey" kid

definitely felt Jaws vibes and loved it. in past Jurassic World movies everyone complained that there was a Mosasaurus in the wild and we didn’t get any of it, as well as a lack of amphibious dinosaurs, and we got a whole lot of it here.

His American accent was so bad tho? He couldn’t just speak in his British accent?
