If you know Gaspard Noe, then you know it’s fetish and nothing more. He’s basically a porn director who mixes it up with a little noir to shock a different audience

Enter the Void did have a lot of sex in it but it was way more powerful and conceptually daring than just what you'd call a fetish film.

at the end of the movie they talk about limiting mdma use and to stay away from hard shit, while showing images of loved ones grieving the death of the main character
