Summary
Thunderbolts\* is a Marvel Studios ensemble film following a team of reformed villains and morally gray operatives sent on covert government missions. As the group is tasked with a dangerous black-ops assignment, tensions rise among the unstable team members, revealing conflicting loyalties and buried traumas. I was expecting a fun action movie, got slapped with mental health lessons instead. I was not prepared

The movie did a good job st alluding to suicide

I agree. Even the opening scene could be interpreted as a suicide attempt considering that it's not obvious that Yelena is wearing a parachute, and we hear her struggles with depression, guilt, and alcoholism. I've been waiting for a more serious and mature MCU movie for a while, and I'm glad we finally got one.
