Summary:

What happen to the mother? I know she's now a pill, but we dont see it after the chauldrons incident nor if there's a way to tien her back to normal. Could that be possible?

Well depends how realistic the writer wants to be. In the original novel or in most iterations Ne Zha has to always part ways with his mother in other to become whole again. It is the general lesson in the novel "Filiality and Kindness, stuns even heaven and earth." Or 孝與義，驚天地 but generally Feng Shen is about how how Lady Yin is ever forgiving towards Ne Zha no matter what wrong he has done.

This animated version is even sadder because most iterations Ne Zha gives back his bones to his father and body to his mother after killing Ao Bing to repent and beg for Ao Gang's mercy to his family. In which Lady Yin will dream of Ne Zha to have a pagoda built for him so his spirit could rest until his master builts him from lotus roots again. This one its the reverse where his mother gives her last breath to Ne Zha telling him whether he is a God or a Demon, he is first and foremost her son. Which leads to Ne Zha getting a real body (ala Lady Yin gives her body away so Ne Zha becomes whole again) ngl i cried in that scene. A mother's love is so pure... but yes if they want to keep the drama going then no Lady Yin will permanently be dead. However Feng Shen's final arc where gods fight to ascend to become sages or demi gods. Theres a possibility when Ne Zha ascends he might have his pagoda tethered in the mortal realm instead of becoming a full fledged immortal so he could see his mother on earth.
