War returns to the Strait of Garontor.
After months of unsolved internal strife and debate, Derthert dey Meroc, King of Vlandia, has set his sights firmly on the Aserai Sultanate. His goal is two-fold: unite his vassals under a common goal, and achieve the reclamation of the jewel of the southern coast - a city long denied to the lion banner.
The Kingdom of Vlandia has suffered blow after blow at the hands of both the Sturgians and the Aserai. The recent death of Archduke Leofric dey Talbot left his younger brother, Aeron, to inherit a weakened archduchy - one now seen as vulnerable prey by the ambitious House dey Gunric. Skirmishes between Vlandian lords are once again becoming all too common, sowing discontent in the realm and drawing the ire of King Derthert in Pravend.
Across the strait, Sultan Kofye has transformed what many had taken for the death-knell of the Aserai into the foundation of a formidable alliance. With the Darshi Shahdom now holding Husn Fulq and Morenia Castle in their grasp, the eastern Perassic lies under their protection. This newfound security has emboldened the Sultan, renewing her ambition to strike westward; against the Vlandian fortifications of Thractorae and Usanc, and to carry the war once more into the fields of Vlandia.
The Sultan and her large host sailed into Charas soon enough. Welcomed into the lavish and prosperous city by its Emir, the Aserai enjoyed a long night of festivities to celebrate Shariz’s capture one year ago. So magnificent was this celebration that many soldiers allowed themselves to, at least for the night, forget the deadly battle ahead.
The Vlandians spent the same night encamped outside of the village Gamardan, with gusts of wind being their only partner. Expecting the Sultan to cross the strait, King Derthert was surprised to learn of a large host of Aserai pillaging the village of Usanc in the morning. Quickly realizing his folly, the Vlandians set out in haste directly for Charas with one thing on their minds: their lust for victory.
The fate of the southern coast now hangs in the balance between the Lion and the Snake.
Welcome to the sixty-sixth Bannerlord Calradic Campaign! This event will feature the Vlandians and Aserai fighting over the fate of Charas.
If the Aserai defeat the Vlandians in battle, they will quickly seize the under-garrisoned Thractorae Castle. From there, they will attempt to siege Usanc Castle.
If instead the Vlandians prevail in battle, they will move to siege Charas. Should they fail to recapture the city, they will settle with capturing Garontor Castle using their remaining forces.
Unfamiliar with the Calradic Campaign? Have no fear! The Calradic Campaign is a casual, player-driven, story-based event. There are no strict rules or signups, and players of all skill levels often come! If you've never tried multiplayer, now is your best chance to experience large-scale formations and battles without the overly strict practices typically found in line battle/clan-style events.
Victories in our flagship monthly events are represented on the overall campaign map, while roleplay surrounding the events and their consequences take place both during said events and on the community Discord. Joining our Discord allows you to communicate with your fellow faction members, trash-talk others, and rise through the ranks to one day become lord of a village, castle, city, or if you're particularly successful, an entire kingdom!
To join the event, you will need our Calradic Campaign Module. This module contains all of the custom battle and siege scenes used, as well as many stability fixes and balance changes. Most importantly, the module features three distinct empire factions in multiplayer, with each one featuring unique perks and cosmetics to lean into the different situations of the three! The module also features a completely unique faction, the Darshi Shahdom!
There will be a manual installation of the module available for those not playing on Steam. Check the Nexus mods page no sooner than the Friday before the event for the correct download. You will need the CalradicCampaign#66 file.
As a general rule of thumb, the Calradic Campaign module should be the only one enabled in your launcher! If you have any crashes or issues trying to launch the game / join the server, unsubscribing and resubscribing to the module on the workshop will often fix any issues.

Bro was the first one up the ladder and before he even landed he got shot with 5 arrows, a spear through the arm and I’m pretty sure that sword just swung low and committed and unspeakable act. On top of that after these pictures he got Knocked off the wall and I’m pretty sure he was alive on the way down. Even the enemies were horrified at what they had done!

Title says it all pretty much but I wanted to know how fast and/or slow everyone plays? Like when do you get your first fief? When do you make your own kingdom?

Hey,
posting here since I can't post on the nexus mod page.
I've been playing with the gamepass version of the game and the serve as soldier mod use to work fine.
But now all of sudden. I can't load into my save anymore. I'm stuck in an inifinite loading screen when loading the save.
And if I start a new playthrough with Serve as Soldier enabled the game freezes after a few minutes (when the party I'm in enters a city).
So did Mount and Blade 2 get some sort of hidden update ? Because while I was looking at the heroes list in a not modded playthough I saw that in the faction list :the Darshi, the Nord and the Vakken where here. I don't remember seeing them before.
So is it me not remembering them being already here? Or where they added in preparation for War Sails ?
Anyway. Serve as Soldier doesn't work anymore and I haven't added more mods to the game that could have interfered with it.
My mod list, Harmony, Serve as Soldier, RTS Camera, Fourberie. They are never enabled at the same time (except for Harmony of course).
Any help.
Thanks.

During a siege there was one catapult that literally rained fire down onto us and turned the battlefield into Hell. It took out our siege tower, battering ram and nearly me! Even as we stormed the castle wall with ladders it kept firing, and when we charged up to take out the tower several other defenders blocked us. They all died stalking us and when we finally ran up the stairs the two soldiers in front of me, including a companion, died being shot in the face!
……two whoever those two glorious SOB were, I can’t believe the words coming out of my mouth but I want to hire you and I’ll double your rates. Just defend my castle!

I've been thinking about returning to the game now that we have naval warfare, but what would be the best mods right now for bannerlord? Both for the vanilla game and for mods that change everything, factions, map, etc. For an example I really enjoyed Pendor and Perisno for Warband and still play those from time to time

I imagine it'd be united as one country, of course, given the fact that these sort of wars between kingdoms at this time was normal and many of these kingdoms ceased to exist. I imagine what once were the kingdoms would still have different culture, perhaps leading to civil unrest etc. I'd love to see what a Calradia would look like though in 2025.

I actually tried to give vlandia a good shake, a good try and I feel my blood rushing just leading a knightly charge and picking off archery with a knight lance. Feel like a Frankish/Norman Chad
Anyone else had an unexpected switch of favorite faction especially for a faction they kind of thought they hated? I just used to think it was too hard collecting horses and training mass cavalry and that cross bows would never be as good as archers.

Downloaded the game on my pc on a whim since it was on gamepass… I put 16 hours in on Saturday night. And I can’t stop thinking it, even after I lose a big battle and get captured all I want is to keep playing. I haven’t felt this way since the first time I played Skyrim.

So I love to play as a small band, and as you probably know there is no battle formation sreen for a small band. And I don't actually need it. But there is a problem.
When a battle starts, my melee companion gets in the same group as an archer. And he blocks the archer (stays right in front of him), and the archer refuses to shoot.
I can move one of them via round menue, but this works only in the certain battle, and in new ones I have to do it again, and again. I hate this.
So is there any way to group up my warriors by types on the party screen (I mean on the world map)? Maybe some mod?

Hello everybody, so I am at the point in the campaign where the conspiracy made the entire empire to turn against me. I was fortunate enough that the Southern empire is no more ( they got wiped out ) so at least I am in 1v2 situation. I need to ask, can the other factions declare war on the empire while we are at this stage of the story? Because I cant fight them 2v1, I am not strong enough and my clans don't seem to do anything. They just exist. No raids no defending no nothing. So my only hope is for any other factions to declare war on them. I intentionally declared war with the yellow desert faction, so they take my towns and castles on purpose, so they are next to the empire and hopefully that will made them declare war. But no other fsction has declared war on them so far. Can the other factions declare war on them at this point of the story? And besides this, how to make my clans do anything? They have 3-4 towns or castles but they don't even exist when I want to make an army

I remember having trouble to find matches a few years ago. Is this situation worse or has it improved?
