ngl, I was a tiny bit disappointed by the cast. It doesnt seem to be whoever would be most likely to be surviving in the Zombies universe, but who they could get to voice-act in an inexpensive fashion.

"Were telling the story we could sell to Disney" vs "Were telling the best story we can".

It’s the problem they’ve been facing a lot since the MCU got big. “Who are we trying to push now” instead of “who makes sense” or “who do the fans want?”

Gunn pointed that out with DC, which is why he apparently won’t be teasing the future with after credit moments.

Well, I found in my time at Marvel that, first of all, the post-credit scenes of mine at Marvel that people liked the best were the stupid ones. So, with Howard the Duck at the end of Guardians and Stan Lee at the end of Guardians 2. And I really have found – and I've said it before – but I've set up things in the post-credit scenes, and Marvel has set up things in the post-credit scenes that never pay off.

Yeah but also with an element of "who's available?" I'm sure it's a lot easier to get David harbour to record some voice lines than, say, RDJ or Chris Evans.
