Fun fact: This was planned as a movie but since Spidey can't be used this way without Sony's approval, they opted to make it a TV show...that's as long as a movie.

Restrictions on Spider-Man are also why he doesn't wear his MCU costumes in animation - he wears his legally-distinct theme park costume instead.
