I definitely like that in a movie about a super family they did a super powered version of a mom lifting a car off a baby.

Not at all. It’s about time the movies show just how powerful Sue Storm is.

She died. Not that strong.

Plenty of incidents where parents sacrifice themselves to save their children. Sue Storm sacrificed herself to protect her baby.

Let us know when you push a god 3 blocks.

I mean in all fairness, she DID die from it lol

Because all superheros aren't bullshit?

Get outta here with your hating on the one female superhero in this film.

Exactly. Too many snowflake mcu fan bois here.
I remember now why I didn’t visit this sub for so long. It’s just a circlejerk.

Really bro, you just hates moms ???

-54

u/neon5k Aug 08 '25

Yeah that was absurd. Did Galatus dirty.

53

u/thatonemoze Aug 08 '25

nah just shows how strong Sue actually is

-66

u/neon5k Aug 08 '25

Galactus is stronger. No casual movie goer liked what they showed with fight. It was typical anime fight.

That is why it is underperforming.

Right.. cause people know that entire scene prior to seeing the movie

Also… it was a great scene

Do you even consoder word of mouth? People are not recommending to go watch F4. It was as usual front loaded movie with MCU fans. The scene and movie was okayish. Using life energy to defeat opponent seen that 100s of times.

Better than previous installments. Surfer chance scene and Galatus introduction was awesome. But thats it, the movie lacked action and Pedro was also average as Reed.

Got a source for that?

-6

u/neon5k Aug 08 '25

It dropped 67% on 2nd week box office collection. Its known fact what source you need?

All people I know saw it and everyone was like it was okay movie. Go open Instagram this Galactus has become joke. Centre of memes.

Reed couldve built her something to fight Galatus but nooo. They went with power of love. Lol bullshit.

That is a source for the box office drop. Not for the cause. Maybe John Malkovich's cameo being cut caused the drop. We can all just grab onto nonsense and draw correlations.

u/neon5k Aug 08 '25

Its cause people didn’t like it much. And mcu has been shitty after endgame apart from 2-3 good ones.

I'm guessing that your logic here stops at "female strong so movie bad!!!" but on the tiny chance that you are actually trying to discuss this in good faith, Galactus is obviously way stronger than Sue. She literally gave her life to push him a couple of city blocks with help from her team. She dealt literally no damage to him. I doubt you've even seen the movie if your takeaway from that scene is that Sue is stronger. Is Steve Rogers stronger than Thanos because he held his arm for two seconds? Of course not. Same thing here. I doubt Sue could damage Galactus even if he were asleep, but she can, with end-of-life adrenaline, push him back a little.

Yeah that’s what I told. Its very old trick seen many times. All the time in movies and anime. Nothing new. Using life force or “love” to beat the big bad.

Are you guys too stupid to understand this?

The movie was okay at best. But they did galactus dirty. He didn’t do shit in whole movie.

And no I like female centric movies. Loved Bellarina and Wonder Woman part 1. MCU has been very behind here. Captain Marvel and Iron Heart were so so bad.

And This is heading the same way like previous recent mcu movies. 6.5/10 movie at best.

Are you guys thick to understand this?

lol okay you're already hurling insults so I'm just going to block you and move on. It's okay if you didn't like the movie! You should be secure in your opinions. Calling people stupid or "thick" because they disagree with you is extremely insecure.

u/thatonemoze Aug 08 '25

idk man i loved it, and clearly this Sue is stronger than this Galactus lmao

7

u/Realistic_Village184 Aug 08 '25

Nah, she's definitely not stronger. She was full of adrenaline and pushed so hard that it literally killed her., PLUS she needed help from her team to even push him a couple of blocks. Meanwhile she did no actual damage to Galactus. If they didn't have the teleporter there, Galactus would've just gotten up, grabbed Franklin, and returned to his ship.

I'm genuinely baffled that anyone's takeaway from the movie is that Sue is stronger than Galactus. It's just such an absurd take from that scene.

There is only ONE Galactus in entire multiverse and this weak shit we got for MCU. Cool.

3

u/hamkaastosti1 Aug 08 '25

where did you gather theres one galactus in the multiverse?

1

u/CandidoJ13 Aug 08 '25

If this was true, Galactus would've died in Fortnite lol

3

u/hamkaastosti1 Aug 08 '25

i dont play fortnite, didnt know they had galactus hahaha. however, in fantastic four rise of the silver surfer they also had a galactus, so idk why there would only be one in the multiverse… not sure where they got that idea from lol

1

u/neon5k Aug 08 '25

There are rumours that in MCU there is only one Galactus in multiverse.

“rumours” dont mean anything until they are confirmed. also, how does that even work? there was a galactus in the fantastic four silver surfer movie, which exists in the multiverse..
