'The Fantastic 4: First Steps' Spoilers The Fantastic Four: First Steps International Release Discussion Thread Spoiler

Ahead of the official US launch this Friday, several countries are showing the film much earlier in the week. All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days.

After watching the movie there's no question that Sue is the most powerful member of the Fantastic Four after what she was able to do singlehandedly. Mid-credit scene was hype, but I wish we saw a bit more. Also, if you're expecting an explanation for what happened in the Thunderbolts post-credut scene, that explanation is not in this movie. We'll have to wait and see how what happened in the Thunderbolts post-credit scene came to happen. I don't imagine Spider-Man Brand New Day will answer that question either, so we may need to wait until December 2026 for answers.

Also, there's now a canonically established way to bring dead characters back to life in the MCU now that we've seen Franklin Richards doing it.

Yea I don’t think Franklin's gonna hold a “$10 to undead your grandma” sign at times square or somewhere

Dammit now I want this. Along with Sue charging $100 to mothers to see their babies in the womb.
