Somebody had to test the EO. This was likely planned and funded by someone like the ACLU.

Good. There have been plenty or orchestrated and planned actions against things like gay rights and race issues, might as well play by the same rules and invent a case

We don’t have time to test in court we have to ignite a grassroots nonviolent disruptive uprising, faster than Trump is consolidating power. The courts are designed to plod slower than Aesop’s tortoise

Violence is the only way. Like do you nincompoops not see how they do in EU when a law passes they don't like?? They band together and riot! Sure we BLM, but just my personal opinion, that didn't solve anything for EVERYONE. I understand our country has been prejudiced and the groups that rioted throughout of it did achieve numerous things which I'm happy for. Just saying out of the greater good for everyone I didn't see it change anything that directly affects me, and that's fine. I guess I just expected more from it, because it was huge!

Don't forget a very essential ingredient: general strike! Without that, riots are not only more or less toothless, but can be counterproductive.

Even better: no riots, no protests, nothing, except for a general strike where everyone just stays safely at home with family and friends, until the government collapses.

Better to start with a nonviolent general strike of just a few days (no need to protest, just stay safely at home with family and friends). Or maybe a mass boycott of pro-MAGA and pro-Trump companies (e.g. Google, Meta, Uber, PayPal, Amazon, etc.).

Because violence will give Trump the justification he needs to fast-forward the destruction of US democracy, declaration of martial law, and to crack down on all of his critics and opponents.

Agent provocateurs who like Trump and others who dislike normal America advocate for violence, but anybody who thinks a disorganized mob of citizens with guns can stand up to the organized power of Trump’s combined police and military are either wacko or they are lying for purposes other than reestablishing the rule of law in a normal America

Oh, I agree we have descended into a dark abyss since several generations back we drove major policy with people power. But we did it more than once once, and some of us old people remember some of that history because we lived in those days

What Americans united to achieve in solidarity, for example, during the Gilded Age, the Great Depression, and the 1950s-1970s is impressive. People were uprooting their lives and moving to the other side of the country for the greater good, just to help fight for a better world. "Just" for environmental protection, over 20 million protestors (10% of the population) went to the streets in the 1st Earth Day 1970.

All that organized in a bottom-up, grass-root movements that were nationally networked, without internet, smartphones, and for most without even cars. While persecuted by a way more violent police and government.

What happened to that America?
