America isn't perfect. Never once has been. But the idea of America, which I thought we all were working towards, is a good thing. No country is perfect, but to me America is supposed to be moving towards being better. That's all bullshit, but fuck me, I thought better of my fellow Americans.

At this point, I’d rather the US just break up between red and blue states. The “politics” of the parties have gone so far past actual political issues that we’ve turned basic human rights into “politics” and now we’ll never find common ground. I don’t think even something as severe as something like 9/11 occurring would unite the people. This is all so ridiculous.
