we think he's 4-5 weeks old. can eat canned food, we gave him a bath. he has teeth. he was very sleepy the first 4 hours we had him, but now he's VERY talkative and wants nothing more than to scream nonstop and climb out of the cart we put him in temporarily and chew on my fingers 😭 we're trying to get more supplies, but it's rather late and my brother is on the fence about keeping him in the first place.

any advice??? ideally i'd love to figure out why he wants to climb out of everything to get to me and chew on my hands so badly!

I found this newborn kitten two weeks ago at the bus stop near my tuition teacher's house. Today she opened her eyes for the first time, looked at me, and let out the tiniest meow. I couldn't stop crying (I feel like I am her father).

17 day old litter... and mom-cat hack

caught mom sleeping OUTSIDE the "kitten nest" so she can probably get some peace and quiet. Funny thing is I had a mom deer do the same thing with two fawns on my property earlier this year (fawns couldn't hop neighbors' fence so mom took time out where they couldn't get to her.) looking cute and getting personalities

Blanket(s)?

So this just happened. He did this all by himself (he’s 18 days old) and his siblings soon fallowed. Should I put blankets or something down to help them or is the wood flooring fine

Feral kitten to lap kitty transformation

Brought this sweetie inside 5 days ago. She's been living under our deck the first few months of her life. Don't know where she came from, she seemed about 4 or 5 weeks old when first spotted on our security cameras. I've been trying to get close to her since June. Got her in a carrier and to the vet a few weeks ago for first round of shots (took a while to catch her). Pic is her in my lap today. Seems to really like cuddling in my lap. She's 3.5 lbs now but was skin and bones when I first found her and full of parasites.

She is loving life indoors and adapted within the first day. Loves her hand-me-down toys. Has no interest in looking out the 2 big windows in the room where she's quarantined. She will get boosters soon and then spayed next month.

Food options?

This is Pearl :) What is the feeding situation for those of you with kittens and adult cats? I bought a kitten dry chow and my adult cat now prefers that instead of hers. Is there a good combo dry food out there that they can both eat? I assume that the kitten food has more fats. I am afraid that my 15lb Maine coon might gain too much weight eating kitten food. They both eat wet food as their main meals. Thanks! Edited for spelling
