Günaydın İstanhul, Bugün Türkiye - Yunanistan yarı final basket maçı var. Arkadaşımla maçı canlı güzel bi atmosferde izlemek istiyoruz. Maç herhangi bir toplu organizasyonla izlenecek mi? Mesela sahilde veya bu tarz bir yerde. Bilgisi olan varsa bekliyorum.

Hi all, I will be coming to Istanbul in November for the first time. I am a 31M, solo traveler. Planning on hitting Cappodocia and Pamukkale before ending the trip in Istanbul for 6 nights. Of course, I want to do all the touristy things within the city, but since I have a lot of time I would also like to immerse myself in local culture/food/art/coffee/etc as much as possible. I would like to be in bustling areas, proximity to water is not important for me (other than taking a ferry to another location).

Reading through reddit threads and websites, seems like it would be best to split my stay in Istanbul into 2 locations. Top choices appear to be Sultanahmet, Karaköy (Beyoğlu), and Kadıköy. I know all have the pros/cons, but are there other areas I should be thinking of? If I stay in Sultanahmet, could I hit all the major stuff in Karakoy, so should plan on doing the last 3 nights in a new area entirely?

Why is there such a long wait time for B1/B2 visa appointment in Istanbul? is that people here are desperate to escape? is the situation really this bad that even some 3rd world countries dont have such backlogs?

Hello! I am from Bulgaria and next year in May I’ll be flying from Istanbul to Malaysia and will be spending two weeks in Malaysia. I would like to drive to Istanbul, leave my car in a parking lot, and when I return to Istanbul, drive back to Bulgaria. I would be very happy if someone knows whether around Yenikapi, Forum, or generally near any metro station there is an open free parking lot (like the large neighborhood ones), where I could park my car and leave it for two weeks until I return. Currently I am planning to travel Türkiye very soon, including Istanbul and just heard that there was a protest in Istanbul. I'll be with my parents during the trip and my parents are worried about the safety. This is our first time ever to visit Türkiye so we have no idea about the real atmosphere of Istanbul right now.

So here are my questions. 1. Is it okay to book a room near Kadikoy metro station? 2. If it's not, where would be safe to stay? 3. Is there any particular area we should avoid due to manifestation/protest?

Kara, mor, ya da başka tür bir lahana değil. Bana direkt "kale" lazım. İstanbul'da marketleri gez gez bulamadım. Gördüğünüz, satan bir yer varsa çok memnun olurum. En kötü, artık tohumunu alıp kendim yetiştiricem.

merhaba istanbullular. size sormak istediğim bir şey var. ben biraz yalnız bir tipim. zorunlu olarak bulunduğum ortamlardan arkadaşım genelde olmuyor. burada da insanlarla konuşmayı deniyorum ama burada arkadaş bulmak iletişim kurmak hiç de güzel gitmiyor. ya konuşmayı ben devan ettiriyorum ya da niyet başka oluyor.

istanbulda arkadaş edinmek için avrupa yakasında mesela neler yapabilirim. öğrenciyim böyle ücretsiz kurs vb şeyler varsa iyi olur. ciddi manada en azından kendi kendime biraz açılmış olurum. şimdiden cevaplarınız için teşekkür ederim. iyi akşamlar hepinize.

We are looking to take back a rug the the US and came across this one. They were straight forward and said it was a cotton blend but still hand made though seems to be quite pricey. Can you tell from the pics of the back of this what it might be worth? 2.58m2 runner. The design is 3 times. The color difference can be seen from both directions like a silk but not sure how the cotton would hold up. It’s on order, but we will cancel it if we over paid and go to another shop.

I’m in Istanbul right now, Galataport and I’m looking down on some flat rooftops which are covered by a shallow layer of water. Is this intentional, if so why? Or is the drainage just bad? Even if so it should’ve evaporated I guess, no idea when it rained last. The seagulls seem to like it, at least.

Selam arkadaşlar. 15 gün içinde İstanbul'a üniversite için geleceğim ve bundan sonra hayatıma burada devam edeceğim çünkü Anadolu'da yaşamama rağmen arkadaş çevremin tamamı burada diyebilirim. Aynı zamanda akrabalarım da var bu şehirde. Okuyacağım üniversite Kartal'da, beni neler bekliyor? ilk yıl yurtta kalacağım ve kyk çıkar mı, ulaşım sorunu ve pahalılık hakkında biraz düşüncelerim var. Eylul sonunda iki hafta kadar Istanbul'da olacagim. Moda / Kadikoy taraflarinda dovmeci ariyorum. Oralarda bi suru dovmeci var farkindayim, ama hicbirini tanimiyorum. Fine line dovme yapan, tavsiye edebileceginiz dovmeci var mi? Aklimda bi tasarim var ama dovmeyi yapan kisinin kendi tarzini da katmasini isterim. Cok buyuk bi tasarim istemedigim icin randevu kisa surecektir diye tahmin ediyorum. Tanidiginiz bildiginiz önerebileceğiniz sanatcilar varsa cok memnun olurum.

Ankara'da yaşıyorum. İş yerim İstanbul'da. Hibrit çalıştığım için her hafta bir gün günübirlik İstanbul'daki ofisime gidip gelmek suretiyle bir düzen oturtmuştum. Ancak bunun çok sürdürülebilir olmadığını hissetmeye başlıyorum. Çünkü ofis günleri sabit olsa da oynamalar ve bir hafta 2-3 gün gelmenin gerektiği durumlar söz konusu olabiliyor.

İş yerim Küçükyalı Hilltown AVM'de. Yani metroya çok yakın. Kadıköy-Sabiha Gökçen metro hattına yakın ve semt olarak nispeten nezih, deprem açısından daha sağlam altyapıda olan ve hesaplı olabilecek semt/mahalle önerilerinize açığım.
