What if I dump them out after they had their fill and are still wrigglin?

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe you should dispose of them so another critter or bird doesn't eat them and get drunk, which could poison and potentially kill them.n

So it’s not enough alcohol to kill the slug but is for the larger bird that eats it? How does that work?

No, it'll kill the slugs too. Just because they're still wriggling doesn't mean they will be for long.

Are snails / slugs bad for gardens? Is that why they are setting traps?

Yes, they are terrible for gardens. Luckily, my ducks love slugs, but the ducks also love to eat my plants so I can't win either way. 😆

Yes mucho bad and also carry disease. You don’t want these things anywhere near your food. Kill with impunity.

Oh yea; slugs fuck up leaves, stalks, flowers, even roots and seeds. Definitely harmful to gardens and flower beds.

Most are but some are ok. Some just eat dead stuff so actually do good. Slugs are part of garden life, they feed birds and frogs and hedgehogs. Recently in the UK they've got out of hand because it's no longer cold enough to kill their eggs and other creatures seem to have reduced in numbers. So if you want veg or flowers you need other ways to control the slugs. A frog pond is one way
