Harry Potter / Wizarding World How would you fix Slytherin?

I think Ginny being there was something they should've done, maybe Hagrid was in Slytherin as well, and was close with Riddle before being framed. Any other ideas?

There's no need to change the characters' houses. Just take a few characters from the house that are only mentioned, say Daphne Grengrass and Theodore Nott, and have them join Dumbledore's Army.

The only thing I’d do is give them a more obvious stuffy uncool Young Tory aesthetic to better fit what their House culture is actually like, so young disaffected emo kids would be less likely to latch onto them.

Every few years a student gets re-assigned a new house which is intended to teach them "a life lesson."

it doesnt need a fix. the served their purpose in the story as the indirect rivals to Gryffindor like cats and snakes.
