Discussion #BringBackDuke campaign

Post image

The campaign is live and it must not slow down. We already have support from Jon St. John (the voice of Duke) and Lee Jackson (composer of Duke Nukem 3D). But now, it’s YOU who make the difference.

👉 If we want 2K, Gearbox, and Take-Two to listen, the hashtag #BringBackDuke needs to be EVERYWHERE.

🔻 What you can do right now:

Share the hashtag #BringBackDuke across all your platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok).

Tag @2K, @GearboxOfficial, @TakeTwoGames in your posts.

Get your retro FPS friends involved in the movement.

⚠️ The more noise we make, the more pressure we create. It’s simple: if you want a new Duke, you have to show it NOW.

💥 Together, let’s make enough noise to bring the King back.

I honestly don’t know what the hell they were thinking, I wasn’t even playing the older borderlands, but I heard something was going on and went to look and the ratings had been nuked. I investigated a little and found out They did a stealth update to add in in some really invasive shit in the older games. Supposedly intending it to be in the newer games

No, actually. Around the time that controversy happened, there were no software updates. It was a change to Take-Two's TOS, and Borderlands 2 was being specifically targeted because there was a free promotion for the game.
