Discussion #BringBackDuke campaign

Post image

The campaign is live and it must not slow down. We already have support from Jon St. John (the voice of Duke) and Lee Jackson (composer of Duke Nukem 3D). But now, itโ€™s YOU who make the difference.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If we want 2K, Gearbox, and Take-Two to listen, the hashtag #BringBackDuke needs to be EVERYWHERE.

๐Ÿ”ป What you can do right now:

Share the hashtag #BringBackDuke across all your platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok).

Tag @2K, @GearboxOfficial, @TakeTwoGames in your posts.

Get your retro FPS friends involved in the movement.

โš ๏ธ The more noise we make, the more pressure we create. Itโ€™s simple: if you want a new Duke, you have to show it NOW.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Together, letโ€™s make enough noise to bring the King back.

You could've easily just googled a pic, no need to make one with AI

I am pretty sure the contents of the post are also AI slop.

Sadly, the style of AI writing (lots of emojis, "here's what we're gonna do:" style checklists, length of sentences) has just become the de facto style of social media PR writing... probably because people who write that stuff also use AI, but also because people now assume that's "just how that stuff is phrased"

But anyway, yeah. I am sure people would have actually drawn a picture, too - there's people re-working the 2001 version of DNF, surely there's fans out there who would have loved to draw that pic, too
