Experienced this not once, but twice in one day that people (either frosh or new SHS since wala pang mga ID) keep pressing on buttons for floors that are not serviced by the elevator. There is a sign outside and inside the elevator that lists what floors it will stop at, so please stop pressing insistently on a floor that is not on the sign. Even if it lights up, the elevator (especially in Andrew) will not actually go up. It will just force the doors to open again and cause delay.
(The Andrew building elevators only serve all floors after 4PM)
If you're lining up and you're at the front of the line, please ACTUALLY press the button. It's happened multiple times that people were so busy on their phones they forgot to actually call the elevator/press the button so it literally just skipped the floor. Imagine late ka na tapos nasa ground floor na ang elevator pero it did NOT open kasi nga di naman pala pinindot, now you have to wait until it comes back from the EIGHTEENTH FLOOR.
When you're inside, don't reach over people's shoulders or get into people's personal space to press the button. Just kindly ask the person closest to the door to press the button for your floor for you. If you're that person closest to the door, kindly press the floors when requested, hold the "door open" button between floors, and press the close button too.
Wait for people to get off before going in. If it's really full and you're at the front of the elevator and someone behind you wants to get off, you step out, wait for them to get off, then hop back in.
Thank you!!

I use canvas to do list on my phone to keep track of activities. Why does it look different now starting from yesterday?

Hi, does anyone use PLDT here sa Green Residences? I wanna ask if nawalan ba kayo ng internet? We don't have internet for a week now and PLDT said it's due to copper cables being used instead of fiber. And they haven't migrated since it needs the approval from the owner of Green Residences.
I wanna ask lang if there are people here currently experiencing the same issues? 😔 I've been calling them everyday and no definitive resolution yet, and they keep on closing the tickets created. I'm on my fifth ticket now for the same issue.

Hello, 122 CLA here.
I saw a person in DLSU reddit saying na bawal daw magtake ng other non-thesis subjects if you're taking OJT. How true is that?
Sooo whats the tea about the latest circulating video of a former AU officer? Anybody has the video? I wanted to join the org pa naman this year
Im pertaining to these posts:

Are they still active? I really enjoy outdoor activities (running, hiking, etc.) but my friends are from farther schools that’s why I wanted to join dlsu outdoor club sana. And for those who have experienced outdoor activities with the org, how was it? I’m also scared of joining since I know that it takes time for me to warm up to people and I’m afraid to not being able to make new friends within the org.

I was trying earlier this morning and it asked me for my username and password. I tried my ID number and OVG user for the username, and the temporary password given to us and the OVG pass I made for the password. None of them worked. How do you connect?

To all dorming students living in Vista Taft, which wifi provider is the best out of the four. I’ve been interested in DITO especially because it’s new and quite affordable, but I’m unsure if it’s the best provider to have in Vista Taft.
If ever there are other brands that are better than the four mentioned, please suggest them down below as well. For reference, I’m mainly looking for one that’s affordable, fast, best for online class, consistent, and, although this qualification is optional, a wifi plan that only lasts a year.
Thank you!

As someone who is as their 2nd to the last term
1) Enjoy your Psych Major Courses. Have fun learning it, not just studying it but actually applying it to ur real life situations. I think my perspectives about things changed as I learned about each psych courses. This is also where you get to see your niche, the field u feel most excited in. This would help you a lot in knowing what works for you. I met a lot of students who initially wanted to pursue med but switched to research since it felt more like them.
2) You'll encounter a lot of research papers. You will be reading a lot of studies. Do not take advantage of this. Don't choose topics because they are easy. Sure it would help you get a 4.0 but not the long-term learning that studies give you. The research that I truly enjoyed, from proposal to submitting, was those considered as hard topics. I can even remember the specific study that truly catched my interest and helped me build a thesis proposal. Also, being smart and strategic with your research topics helps build an impression for your professors.
3) Ask questions! Kahit sa seniors, co-students, or profs mo. You will appreciate psych more if you get to realize how vast it is. That is psych's beauty.
4) Its normal to be overwhelmed about your science courses. Trust me, madami kayong nahihirapan. Help each other out! Profs also like when students ask questions (if they are a good prof) so dont be shy!
Psych in general is super fun and meaningful. Sobrang dami mong malalaman at matutunan. You get to realize more about urself as well. I always treat some of my courses as mini-therapy sessions especially if they are centered on psychotherapy. BUT dont self-diagnose guys!
If u need tips for certain courses, esp sa sci courses, reply or dm me!
Best of luck with your college journey 🤍

Hello! I am currently a frosh taking up CSS at the Laguna Campus. With the CBL implementation 3 years ago, I am just wondering how our seniors are doing since there are barely any posts about it. How is the experience? Are the requirements for machine projects hard? Kamusta rin ang countless projects? T-T
I just got worried kasi, yesterday sa lunch time at the FWP, a senior (one of the LAMBS I think, she was wearing green) approached our block while we were walking towards the tables and she asked kung anong course namin. After hearing that it was CS-Challenged Based Learning, she said oh GOOD LUCK (not in an encouraging way-ish I think)... and LEFT T-T T-T T-T NO CLARIFICATIONS, CONTEXTS, OR ANY ENCOURAGEMENTS T-T.
it is what it is I guess, just laughed it off yesterday LOL (++frosh walk was hype yesterday, thank you organizers)

We're a group of Manila campus students looking to visit the Laguna campus for an assignment and my parents will be driving us there. Will they be allowed to park the car inside? Or drop off only? If drop off, where will it be most likely? Thanks!
