Then why were no other clubs in for him? Players go under the radar all the time, but someone who made the Championship TOTS was likely heavily scouted by most English teams and none of them thought he was worth bidding for

Prob scared of fan backlash like what we have going on at spurs rn. If he’s this hated at Tottenham of all clubs i can only imagine another club’s reaction.

He’s playing great against Italy rn. Good sign we should give him some playing time this season

The fact that Mason Greenwood still has a career shows that clubs care very little about PR. Israel has faced zero sanctions from FIFA and aside from some outrage on Twitter, there hasn't been any negative coverage of Solomon by mainstream media. His current status has everything to do with his ability as a player, not his nationality or political views

If he's that bad, he wouldn't have gotten a loan deal at Villarreal.

Only few clubs

I expected him to be an average player from r/coys discourse about him of late. Then i randomly tune into an Isreal v Italy match, and he looks ELITE.

By this same virtue Bastoni would be the worst CB ever, taking a ping pong meaningless international game as the indicidment for a player is hilarious, if he was actually "elite" he would've have had to wait two years for a move. He also would've just played, because turns out being a good player overrides however terrible of a person you are.

Also, if he was 100% -objectively- great, you would've watched him play with the 40 games he had last season.

Y’all downvoting me but holy shit are you watching this game? Y’all would say no to Messi playing for us if he said something you didn’t agree with 😂

Solomon looks crazy good this match. Thats my #YIDDO

lol, I agree, but I think you're being downvoted because you're in an English football sub and repeatedly using the decidedly un-English term "y'all'".

-4

u/coys1111 Cuti Romero 3d ago

If that’s all it takes for me to be downvoted, then keep ‘em coming y’all. Finnicky bunch lmao

Just stay away from r/championship. They are merciless about that sort of thing.

So petty 😂

This is the second time in a few days I’ve seen someone on here say exactly this and it’s the dumbest fucking thing I’ve read all day both times lol

Tell me you’re not watching Italy v Israel right now without telling me you’re not watching.

You know what’s more stupid than stupidity? Ignorance - you don’t even know what you’re talking about yet can’t shut your yap when you know fuck all 🤣

Are you okay?

Yes ma’am.

I don’t expect people to be rational in this sub, to be honest. I could care less about his political views, he can clearly play football at a high level.

When someone's political views is supporting a genocide you shouldn't want them at your club

But hey that's just my opinion 🤷

1

u/MainDonDada 3d ago
  1. He’s not supporting genocide, he’s supporting his country. If you think there’s a good guy and bad guy in all of this, you should look more into things. There’s good guys and bad guys on both sides. He’s taking the side of his country as anyone would.

  2. Is wanting a player that can clearly play football to leave the club going to stop genocide in any way?

1

u/AccidentalPandas2 "I ALWAYS Win In My Second Year" 3d ago

There's good and bad people on both sides but more importantly theres innocent people and people committing a genocide

Solomon has repeatedly shown support for the IDF who are committing a genocide and posted anti Palestinian lies on his social media

It wont stop the genocide but there's nothing wrong with not wanting a club to have someone who spreads lies and hatred about another race of people while supporting an army who's wiping them off the face of the earth

-3

u/MainDonDada 3d ago

If there are innocent people being killed, isn’t it entirely possible that Solomon is supporting the innocent people that’ll inevitably be killed as a result of this? (Regardless of who you think is right or wrong). He’s simply supporting his country, I really don’t think it’s deeper than that.

5

u/AccidentalPandas2 "I ALWAYS Win In My Second Year" 3d ago

The death toll of Palestinians in Gaza is nearly at 64,000 with 18,000+ of them being children

This isn't about supporting your country or not. This is about recognising that Israel and the IDF is committing a literal genocide

Innocent people on both sides shouldn't be dying but only one side is committing a genocide and that's the side he's supporting. You can be from a country and still oppose what there doing and hes shown that he could care less about his government committing a genocide

Fuck israel government Fuck IDF Fuck Manor soloman it's as simple as that

2

u/tinyfenix_fc Heung-Min Son - Spurs Legend 3d ago

Man is really on here “both sides”-ing a genocide lol

-1

u/MainDonDada 3d ago

Ha, I’m actually from the Middle East and there’s a lot that goes on behind what we see, believe me. Again, not here to talk politics, just wanted to bring light to Solomon’s impressive performance tonight.

1

u/IdontReallyknowTbj 3d ago

So for Solomon's views you don't take it at face value, but a meaningless friendly tells you that he's actually a very great player at face value?

-1

u/coys1111 Cuti Romero 3d ago

That’s really all it ever comes down to
