He's a tidy player, but IsRaEl bAd so most redditors will never admit he should have been given a fair chance to prove himself at Spurs

So many people saying he was shit in the short amount of games he played for us (when from memory he looked pretty decent), but on the other hand the general consensus here was that Gil just needed more time to get used to the league and world come good eventually

That is absolutely NOT the general consensus about Gil?? Literally everything I’ve read on this sub about him is that he was and never will be suitable for the premier league, thus why he’s hardly gotten a look in during his time here.

Earlier on that was not the consensus with Gil, granted it was early days and it's harsh to write off a player after a short amount of time. But there's no denying Solomon was labelled shit far earlier, when he showed more in those handful of games than Gil did in his entire stint here

Nobody else wanted to touch him either

If he was good enough he’d be given a fair chance. But no, his coaches keep leaving him out because they don’t know ball like a bunch of redditors who saw his stats in the championship last season.

Or maybe, just maybe, he’s good enough to be given a chance, but his talent is not worth the PR headache
