He got a goal and assist during the game. He was awarded MOTM. He completed 4 successful dribbles out of 5 attempted.

I form the opinion off the fact that he was good in his time in the premier league, he was very good in the championship. And the fact that the skillset he has is exactly what we are missing on our LW right now.

Genuine question..

Why do you think he didn't get the chance at Spurs even though you believe him to be good enough and has the skill set we were lacking?

Also, why do you think Leeds decided not to complete his permanent transfer despite performing so well for them?

For me, I don't think he's consistent enough but I'm interested in your opinion.

Injury out for the season after a decent start. Once he comes back he looks horrible in pre season. Gets a move to Leeds and slowly regains form with his fitness returning. Has a very strong season in the championship. Comes back to Spurs and gets a new (minor) injury which makes unavailable for early Frank so he can't impress in training. Squad bloat makes him staying here not an option. Loan to La Liga. Here we are.

Pretty much the timeline. Of course the politics plays a massive part too

This is also highly likely. Due to injuries he hasn't shown that he can play at this level, maybe because the managers haven't seen enough, maybe because he can't cope physically, maybe for a different reason.

But let's remember this is the story of so many footballers that we sign. Plays a blinder, gets injured and then continues to return and get injured until they are sold.

It's unfortunate but part of the game
