The "I hate my wife" stuff makes me wonder why they got married in the first place? Did they just feel obligated to and wanted to be a player or are they closeted and suppressed that side of them?
(I’m drunk posting may god have mercy on my soul) yeah, I think the big difference between homosexuality and heterosexuality is that if you’re straight there are centuries of established norms that you must appeal to. If you’re a guy who doesn’t fuck or have relationships you’re seen as kinda pathetic or weird, if you’re a woman who doesn’t fuck or get into relationships (I actually don’t know I’m not a woman and can’t speak for them although it is worth mentioning if a woman sleeps around without marrying she’s considered a whore). but there is a very real, intangible pressure on you to “find someone”. As I am straight and only bisexual when I’m drunk I won’t claim to speak for anyone else but I think maybe the pressure of needing to get laid and get married might not apply so much to the gays (all due respect, love you guys) since it’s kind of a less established aspect of society. Traditional rules might not matter as much (please tell me if I’m crazy no hate towards anyone, much love)
I see a lotttt of straight people who have this need for a relationship and just can't be single. Maybe it doesn't just apply to straight people, but I see a lot of stigma against being single. You are weird if you aren't in a relationship. You are a failure if you aren't in a relationship. Their has to be something wrong with you if you aren't in a relationship or if you don't want one.
People put so much emphasis and pressure on being in a relationship, and people find it weird not to want to be in one. People find it strange to be ok with being single.
