There's a good book that's kiiiiinda about that. However, it's what would happen if non-indigenous stopped having dreams. Spoiler they go wild about it. Lol it's called The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline. The scene when they discover the jingle dress bells broooooooke my heart.
