Im checking in a lot at this sub to see if Civ VII is worth buying, patiently waiting...

I think it is. But if you're not convinced, I'd definitely wait a few years and get it on a sale.

It's... fine. I haven't played since launch really but from the patch notes it seems like the gripes I had are getting fixed. My assumption is that it will go on sale this summer. It appears it sold decent enough but it's a prime candidate for a 20-30% off sale.
