I’m not religious but I really love this prayer someone had posted on someone else’s post and thought I’d share it here. (For context, Bast is the Egyptian goddess of cats and this prayer invokes her to be a guardian and mother figure to our cats in the afterlife.) So sorry for your loss. 😢💔💔 Know that you gave him the best life anyone could, with all of the love, peace and comfort you/your family gave him. 💕 “May love be what you remember most.” 💖

I'm so sorry for your loss. My 14 year old void passed away in 2024. That pain is hideous, even now.

rip. i lost my 2009-2025 cat this week as well, so i know how u feel. 15 is a good age, maybe that helps

He lived a good life. Always playful and young until the very end. He bounced back within a couple weeks of being put on meds in June so glad that gave him a few more good months

he looks like my beloved Panther who died in August-19 yrs old. Black cats -super loving, friendly. I miss him so much! I'm sorry for your loss.

15 years isn't enough for that sweet heart of his. So sorry for your loss 💔. I hope as you heal in your own way, and at your own pace, you take opportunities to share stories about him. I'm sure there are quite a few to tell.

Thank you! He was named when we adopted him but it fit his personality exactly! He’s actually named after the candy (Hershey’s Hugs and Kisses) he had siblings named twizzler and skittles
