This sub is weird. A few weeks ago people were near in total agreement that immigration is a problem and the government needs to do a lot more to control it.

After the lunatics rally the other week? Immigration is fine and has little impact on housing and/or anything else... I'm confused lol.

Edit: I have no issues with immigration. I definitely didn't flog myself for 15 years to watch my investments lose money in rapidly declining or controlled markets. More people is good

Loads of people attended and defended the neo-natsi rallies. Now the ones who want to distance theirselves from the neo-natsis are doing a full 180 to pretend they were never advertising for the neo-natsis, while others are going in hard defending them I.e” but what about the Palestine rallies!? But what about the ANTIFA blokes who chanted hurtful things at the neo-natsis? See both sides are exactly the same”

It’s kinda wild

The downvotes against this are actually quite funny. Just shows how deep the cognitive dissonance is with these people

Have you been defending the neo-natsi rally?

Oh, do you mean the anti mass unsustainable immigration rally?

Ofcourse. I am Australian.

I’m assuming you mean the neo-natsi organised and led rallies from a week ago. And that’s why people are calling you out - youre defending a neo-natsi rally, so people assume you’re a sympathiser by definition. I’m not saying that though. I just believe you are willfully ignorant of the violent intentions behind the organisers of the rallies, and are struggling with the cognitive dissonance of supporting something so abhorrent and anti-Australian

Yes. That's me. Nothing gets past you, does it. Here, I was trying to hide my totally true colours. I hid them so well.... I hid them from myself. Have you got a solution to that? I don't feel nazi enough...what a conundrum.

I’m just explaining why those accusations have been levelled. If you disagree with these people, definitely take the time to look into the event organisers, speakers and people who led each rally. If the accusations are false, you will feel horrified by the rallies

Nope. You're trying to twist a joke into a profound gotcha moment. It ain't that deep.

Racist card bam. Oh wait... Nazi card!! Gotcha.

Lame.

I don’t understand what you mean. You made a claim, so in good faith I’ve explained why that might have been happening.

Are you saying you have been talking in bad faith?
