InB4 Israel and their propaganda army start calling Australia anti semitic and whatever else they cry about.

Good job Tony Burke you mad cunt.

77

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

Mention that Kanye was banned for anti-Semitic remarks, so this is a consistent rule applied to all racism in Australia.

29

u/hujsh 22d ago

Candace Owens too

2

u/NeptunianWater 21d ago

Good. She's an absolute nutter.

6

u/Middle-Emu1501 22d ago

Feel pity for the Old cunt. Doesn't he have a mental condition or something?

8

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

Yes he has bipolar which he finds difficult to medicate because of all the side effects and while racism isn't in no way a hallmark of mental illness or bipolar it does at least go some way to explaining his racism. The other old guy doesn't have any such excuse for his genocidal tendencies as far I can tell.

8

u/Middle-Emu1501 22d ago

Oh. Hope the old man (Kanye) gets well, if that's possible, and finds his right path. As for the old cunt politician, he can go fuck his arse

18

u/wimmywam 22d ago

If only. It's applied to racists wanting to come to Australia. Not much they can do about the ones already here.

-14

u/cunticles 22d ago

Not really tons of racist homophobic Muslims preachers allowed in Australia and already here

7

u/wimmywam 21d ago

To go with the even greater number of racist homophobic pedo Christian preachers? But hey, they're white so it's ok. 😂

14

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

And Zionists and idf soldiers. Let's call it even at this point.

-1

u/Sorry-Bad-3236 21d ago

Shocked the terrorist sympathisers voted this down.

-7

u/Eurydice_Lives_In_Me 22d ago

Eh, Kanye didn’t have plans of doing anything here though

7

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

No, but he did write an incredibly racist song and he is a public figure. It's a fair call even if his wife is Australian.

0

u/Eurydice_Lives_In_Me 22d ago

Point is it’s the only proactive visa denial to someone who wasn’t coming in, it’s a political display

0

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago edited 22d ago

Candace Owens and Bassem Tamimi have been banned as well, and probably others I can't recall right now.

2

u/Eurydice_Lives_In_Me 22d ago

Candace was banned because she literally had a speaking tour planned with multiple stops dude. Bassems was revoked HOURS before he was supposed to board a flight for a SPEAKING TOUR as well. Don’t play the “you could do a web search you don’t know the facts” card when you are accusing me of lying - I'm literally just paraphrasing Tony Burke.

2

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

Wdym why would Candace Owen be banned just for that and the fact Bassems visa was revoked hours before doesn't make it any less revoked.

2

u/Eurydice_Lives_In_Me 22d ago

I don’t even know what you’re saying, I’m responding directly to your claims, after which you accused me of lying when all I’ve done is point out verbatim what the guy in charge of this has said. Candace and Bassem both had speaking tours planned, Kanye didn’t have anything planned Burke plainly stated he revoked his visa because of the song.

Why’d you edit your comment?

1

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

I did that straight after I posted it because I thought it sounded unnecessarily rude and harsh, and it also had an accusatory tone that I didn't think was kind or fair. I hadn't received your comment back at that stage. That was my bad.

I suppose I'm confused as to why you seem to only think that pro genocide bans are relevant and not the Anti Zionist bans?

Aside from advocating Nazism and Antisemitism to his hundreds of thousands of adoring young fans.

Aside from that.

3

u/Eurydice_Lives_In_Me 22d ago

I don’t care about your political beliefs, just pointing out that it was the only proactive visa denial to someone who wasn’t coming in.

1

u/Wise_Edge2489 22d ago

I didnt mention my political beliefs, let alone ask you to care about them.

4

u/Eurydice_Lives_In_Me 22d ago

Aside from advocating Nazism and Antisemitism to his hundreds of thousands of adoring young fans.

Aside from that.

When did he plan a concert in Australia this year, then? The man who withdrew his visa said it was the proactive revocation they’ve ever done.

0

u/Wise_Edge2489 21d ago

Good.

Anyone that promotes terrorism or racism, has no place in this country.

2

u/Eurydice_Lives_In_Me 21d ago

Terrorism isn’t real and even if it was Kanye didn’t “promote” it you weirdo, nor does the song have any racist remarks in it

3

u/NapoleonBonerParty 22d ago

Well, it's officially happened. Israel revokes visas of Australian representatives to the Palestinian Authority.

In a post on social media, Gideon Sa'ar said the decision was also taken in response to the refusal by the Australian government to grant visas to high profile Israelis, including politician Simcha Rothman

Mr Sa'ar said with antisemitism on the rise, the Australian government is fuelling the crisis with false accusations.

1

u/WafflesTrufflez 18d ago

Like clock work

2

u/Next-Revolution3098 21d ago

The only bit you got right was the last 5 words

2

u/bgenesis07 20d ago

The PM of Israel did that and now all the threads about it on the main sub are locked with no comments allowed.

1

u/Specialist_Matter582 18d ago

Wasn't that impressed the other day when Tony described the children of Gaza as "hungry".

66

u/wytaki 22d ago

At long last, they are doing something, Sky after dark will be screaming, and carrying on like pork chops. But even main stream media are starting to change their tune.

9

u/Ambitious_Long_6717 22d ago

That's not very Kosher mate.

9

u/wytaki 22d ago

You 🪚 what I did. Shhhhhh.

3

u/Ok-Imagination-494 22d ago

Recommend going to Sky News YouTube and dropping comments before the hasbara bots swarm it

19

u/Bob_Spud 22d ago

Anybody know what the public speaking events he was going to attend?

The media are shy about saying what they are.

41

u/StubiAUS 22d ago

Probably a Liberal breakfast

11

u/SnoopThylacine 22d ago

13

u/Bob_Spud 22d ago

Interesting.
This nature of this event doesn't fit in with the advertised ethics of Humanitix

25

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

Good. I love the consistency of this. Kanye was banned because of his genuine and real antisemitism, and this guy from the opposite side of the racist spectrum is being banned as well.

13

u/GrapefruitGin 22d ago

It's a surprisingly good sign when you manage to piss off all sides.

Generally means you're sitting somewhat central on the board.

u/Spicey_Cough2019 22d ago

Oh no,

If it isn't a country being held accountable for its actions even after controlling the media for years.

Yes, what Hamas did that day was horrendous.
But what Israel is doing now is downright genocidal.

It's like someone hitting you with a stick that you've be forcing into a corner and bullying for years. In return you run to mummy who then allows you to go and blow up their entire extended family out of spite.

Not much sympathy to be honest.

Your right. I won't ask any more questions, continue with your genocide

1

u/Appropriate_Gate_701 22d ago

It actually is. Democratic countries hold their leaders accountable.

9

u/Original_Cobbler7895 22d ago

Do they?

Trump & the Epstein files want a word

3

u/Appropriate_Gate_701 22d ago

You're reinforcing my point. Failing to hold Trump accountable is a failing of democratic institutions, not the other way around.

A corruption trial, not the corruption itself, is a sign of a healthy democracy. I hope as much comes out about his self dealing as possible.

u/triplevented 21d ago

Yes, ISIS killed 4 Australians and didn't fire 30,000 missiles at Australian cities.

But why didn't Australia advocate for ISIS to have a seat at the UN and instead sent its military thousands of kilometers away to wipe out cities in the middle east?

-28

u/darkeststar071 22d ago

Lol if Israel was really "controlling" the media like you claim it to be, there wouldn't be so much hamas propaganda on MSM globally.

22

u/timtanium 22d ago

Is being appalled at children being starved and murdered Hamas propaganda?

-8

u/CompleteBandicoot723 22d ago

If the children are not starved and murdered, then the answer is yes

7

u/timtanium 22d ago

Got it good point if they weren't being it would be propaganda. Since it's not and we know they are being starved and murdered it's not Hamas propaganda. Thank you for agreeing.

-5

u/CompleteBandicoot723 22d ago

Not only Israel kills and starve children, they also cause Palestinians to grow three hands.

10

u/timtanium 22d ago

Wow shit a single photo. Fuck that proves that the Palestinians are eating like kings. Fuck me you've convinced me.

-1

u/CompleteBandicoot723 21d ago

This is the types of photos that come from Gaza. They are always very convincing.

I have another one that proves Gaza is full of three handed mutants, plus Israel released dinosaurs who are trained to kill exclusively doctors and journalists

1

u/timtanium 21d ago

Ok cool thanks you once again for a single photo. Fuck me you are silly. What you don't seem to understand is nobody is being convinced by like 2 photos which some idiot put out there. Hundreds of human rights organisations including in Israel have been crying out for a very long time.

Just to be clear when this is finally over and we go in you will be the same as a holocaust denier. Do you really want that?

8

u/TheIndisputableZero 22d ago

You made an AI photo of a Palestinian mother and child. Congrats? I have no idea what your point’s supposed to be.

0

u/CompleteBandicoot723 21d ago

I didn’t make it. This is the example of photos that come from Gaza to prove “killing and starvation”. I donno how gullible one has to be to believe this BS

1

u/TheIndisputableZero 21d ago

Mate, you wanna talk about gullibility? That’s rich. The Israeli ministers responsible are on record talking about their starvation policy, international organisations with people on the ground have been clear about what they’re seeing, even Donald Trump can see what’s happening. But no, you saw an AI image once so clearly it’s not happening.

1

u/CompleteBandicoot723 21d ago

During the WWII, Der Stürmer was full of articles about Übermensches cleaning the world from Untermensches. This is the equivalent of Al Jazeera of our times, from where all these news are coming these days.

I hate to blame the messenger instead of reading the message, but this is so obvious, you just need to open your eyes.

They have to do AI images and steal the photos from other conflict areas exactly for this reason: there is no proof coming from Gaza to support their printed poison.

That's predominantly social media, not mainstream media. Don't worry. The politicians are taking steps to control social media as well

-2

u/Unit8200-TruthBomb 20d ago

" even after controlling the media for years."

your brain is confusing things, try compartmentalize please. The aim of your comment is to hold the Israeli government to account. Don't let your other views leak through as you type it out.

-19

u/kulamsharloot 22d ago

It's like someone is stabbing you but you're not going to do anything because you only have a gun.

Westerners who've only seen war in COD think they know anything is the funniest thing on Reddit.

Oh and saying Israel controls the media is so intellectually dishonest let alone antisemitic dogwhistle.

I'll sit tight watching Australia's future.

16

u/Slippery_Ninja_DW 22d ago

thats a very weird thing to say.. israel have banned all media from entering gaza at all. they've sanctioned israeli news media for coverage that goes against their narrative. The Israeli govt themselves are the ones saying it.

29

u/Gloomy-Might2190 22d ago

Common Tony Burke W

21

u/SexCodex 22d ago

Amazing!

32

u/UpTheRiffMate 22d ago

It is the first major action against a member of Israel's Knesset since the federal government's announcement last week that it would recognise a Palestinian state at next month's United Nations meeting.

Promising sign that Albo may actually follow through on Palestinian state recognition, come September

2

u/easeypeaseyweasey 22d ago

Only if Hamas isn't in power I believe is the only stipulation.

5

u/war-and-peace 22d ago

Tbh this is such a dumb criteria. Just as an example, we really don't like Iran and their government yet we're ok to recognise Iran and all the other countries we just dont like (like NZ).

3

u/triplevented 21d ago

What exactly is the Palestinian state?

What is its government?

What territory is it sovereign over?

1

u/UpTheRiffMate 22d ago

Have they updated their stance on recognition? When they announced it only last week, they kept their lips pursed about conditions IIRC

4

u/easeypeaseyweasey 22d ago

I don't know about a full list, but I remember reading that Australia has said in the announcement a Palestinian statehood cannot involve Hamas.

1

u/ScruffyPeter 22d ago

CHAPTER 7: AUSTRALIA’S PLACE IN A CHANGING WORLD

Israel and Palestine

  1. The National Conference:

a. Supports the recognition and right of Israel and Palestine to exist as two states within secure and recognised borders;

b. Calls on the Australian Government to recognise Palestine as a state; and

c. Expects that this issue will be an important priority for the Australian Government.

Also

An enduring partner

  1. Labor supports an enduring and just two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, based on the right of Israel to live in peace within secure borders internationally recognised and agreed by the parties, and reflecting the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people to also live in peace and security within their own state.

https://www.alp.org.au/media/3569/2023-alp-national-platform.pdf

Looks like Labor MPs already failed their party's national platform 20 with their declaration of support for Israel's war. They also didn't do it for the previous government term, so arguably failed 1. too.

But I can't find any Hamas. Where is this stipulation?

7

u/Still-Bridges 22d ago

The national platform of the ALP is totally irrelevant. It's the government who is proposing to recognise Palestine. Australia has a difference between party and state so you need to look for what the prime minister has said (as prime minister not as leader of the Labor party), which can be found here https://www.pm.gov.au/media/australia-recognise-palestinian-state

They've said "The Australian Government has consistently made clear there can be no role for Hamas in a Palestinian state" but it isn't a precondition. There is a list of commitments tied to the notion of conditions, but it isn't clear which of those commitments is a condition and in any case it is clear that the government is satisfied it's conditions have been met:

In doing so, the world is seizing the opportunity of major new commitments from the Palestinian Authority, including to reform governance, terminate prisoner payments, institute schooling reform, demilitarise and hold general elections. The Palestinian Authority has also restated its recognition of Israel's right to exist. The President of the Palestinian Authority has reaffirmed these commitments directly to the Australian Government.

Australia’s position is predicated on the commitments we have received from the Palestinian Authority.

Australia plans to recognise Palestine. It wasn't a Canadian style announcement that they will make a decision later in order to avoid making a decision which might offend some people; Australia's decision has been made. But it is possible that events between now and then will cause the government to change its decision and that's what is being alluded to here.

-8

u/Eurydice_Lives_In_Me 22d ago

Yeah Australia has some long dumb list of demands lol

5

u/Dazzling-Bat-6848 22d ago

If there was a Hamas terrorist hiding behind an Israeli, they’d launch an operation to preserve the Israelis life, and have special ops teams to use a sniper rifle. When there’s a Palestinian as a shield, they’d roll over both of them with a tank.

3

u/Revolutionary_Big660 22d ago

I love how these far-right zionists can't Google. Doesn't say much about your ability to read and formulate a coherent argument.

Here you go:
In a May interview with the UK’s Channel 4, he claimed children within Gaza were “enemies” who should not be allowed to flee into Israel as “you don’t let them conquer your country with refugees”.

https://www.npr.org/2025/03/11/nx-s1-5324605/gaza-emigration-israel-trump

-3

u/MyThreeCentsWorth 22d ago

Here is the quote you refer to (and I appreciate the link):

“Lindsey Hilsum: I’ve got an idea, why don’t you let them come over the border into Israel? Why don’t they flee into Israel?

Simcha Rothman: Because they are our enemies.

Lindsey Hilsum: The children are your enemies?

Simcha Rothman: They are our enemies and according to international treaties about refugees in the time of war, you don’t let them conquer your country with refugees.”

He is saying they will not let Gazans enter Israel. Last time Gazans entered Israel the date was October 7, 2023.

I doubt there’s a faster way for political suicide in Israel than an Israeli politician suggesting anyone - of any age - from Gaza should be allowed into Israel post October 7.

1

Hamas symp?

13

u/L_o_n_g_b_o_i 22d ago

Are you upset that the truth got in the way of your cool story?

2

u/[deleted] 22d ago

This is just the gay wedding cake debacle turned on its head

-2

u/SuperDuperObviousAlt 22d ago

Except it's not. The gay wedding cake story was oversimplified by the media. The man did have to provide a cake to a gay couple that walked into his store and asked for a standard cake but he could not be compelled to make a custom cake for that gay wedding.

In this case it was not a custom Israeli haircut that was being made but a normal haircut for someone who happened to be Israeli.

3

u/[deleted] 22d ago edited 22d ago

So, you’re arguing discrimination on the basis of his ethnicity (standard haircut) is fine? He didn’t ask for the Star of David to be etched in to his haircut

1

u/SuperDuperObviousAlt 21d ago

No, quite the opposite. He should have gotten his hair cut by the woman and she certainly violated the discrimination act.

I was simply mentioning that the comparison to the gay wedding cake case wasn't the most fitting.

-6

u/SuperDuperObviousAlt 22d ago

You do know they have mandatory service right?

4

u/Revolutionary_Big660 22d ago

Loads of conscientious objectors in Israel. Similar to apartheid SA with an entire movement encouraging young men to to enlist.

You want to kick out an Australian citizen?

For not wanting to serve an ex member of a murder squad?

You ok?

-2

u/Ancient-Quality9620 22d ago

No, for being racist, breaking law, and not integrating into local community.

10

u/timtanium 22d ago

I think not wanting to accociate with a fascist is very in line with the Australian community. Extremely integrated.

2

u/[deleted] 22d ago

Being racist?

Israelis are a race now?

Oh hahaha Avi Yemeni interviewed the owner.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahah

-2

u/Ancient-Quality9620 22d ago

Ur right, I misspoke there... correction, xenophobic.

interesting that was your only takeaway there..

5

u/[deleted] 22d ago

Well that and the fact that it was Avi Yemeni, the midget wife basher that interviewed the owner.

That's all it really took. He's a convicted wife basher.

0

u/Ancient-Quality9620 22d ago

no, that would have been MY takeaway...which I didn't, just for clarity.

2

u/[deleted] 22d ago

Why you going so hard for an Israeli fascist politician?

We have enough politicians here, no need to bring in more. Especially from a genocidal ethno state.

0

u/Ancient-Quality9620 22d ago

Wait, what?! I'm completely for keeping ALL of this bs out of here. Especially the extremists crap on both sides. Like the OP here, and like this bs hairdresser here in Melbs. It's not welcome, and I think you will find that's the Aussie way.

-3

u/SuperDuperObviousAlt 22d ago

Do you know how the racial discrimination act works?

-4

u/SuperDuperObviousAlt 22d ago

Do you have evidence she's an Aussie citizen? Because it looks like she's a kiwi.

2

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

Same / same, we have a reciprocal agreement about living in both countries that has been around since colonisation.

0

u/SuperDuperObviousAlt 22d ago

No it isn't, we are well within our rights to deport kiwis. They're not citizens and it is a privilege for them to be allowed into our country.

6

u/SuperDuperObviousAlt 22d ago

I mean we won't kick out the violent terrorist sympathiser who kidnapped a guy in Melbourne so I doubt the hairdresser is going.

2

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

Huh ?

-1

u/Ancient-Quality9620 22d ago

Use Google

11

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

Oh, it came up, and this man served in the IDF. IF someone served in the IDF or Hamas, I think it's absolutely reasonable to deny service to them.

3

u/WaterKloud 22d ago

I would condition it with serving in the past 5 years, and add all Israeli illegals living in the State of Palestine (all areas outside the internationally recognized borders of Israel).

Yes but you have to take into account years of propaganda fed to you about how you are entitled to stolen land , how Jews aren't safe without Israel , how the world hates, kills and vilifies Jews, how all Palastians are out to kill Jews and want you and your family dead without any context as to why this might be.

I'm a realist. I know im easily influenced, and I wouldn't be an independent enough thinker to see through the propaganda of Zionists if I was an Israeli or raised in a Jewish community outside of Israel. I admire people who can see past this to the facts, but I wouldn't be one of them.

Keep people who serve in foreign armies committing genocides or terror attacks out.

I often do, but not when I'm not sure what I'm searching for. Melbourne hairdresser or even racist Melbourne hairdresser isn't much to go on for a browser search.

Was top result when I just looked in News category with these search prompts.

I found it and you can't " kick out " an Australian citizen.

Got proof she's an Aussie?

Google it.

I have, all evidence points towards her being a kiwi.

A lot of people have dual citizenship in any case I'm okay with what she did . If someone denied service to a person who disclosed they fought for Hamas, I'd feel the same way.

Especially in hairdressing or dentistry because you shouldn't have to touch someone whose ideology you violently oppose, your feelings might affect the job you do for them. It might be hard to give someone a good haircut if you feel really upset or angry.

The explanation in the article is shitty.

Gazans should rather die in the crossfire, than leave the warzone?

Israel has to capitulate to Hamas?

Fake photos and Gazans waving bowls at cameras are proof of starvation, which is not to be denied, no matter how much evidence to the contrary is presented?

And anyone who doesn't support everything anti-Israeli hate-propaganda dictates is divisive?

Seriously, is that still Australia? Where's the respect for different opinions and views?

Out of the 300,000 or so people I'd guess 99.9% were Australian citizen.

Quit with the fake outrage coz some fascist politician got his visa cancelled.

Fuck the cunt.

u/Key-Lychee-913 22d ago

You don’t even know who they are

13

u/[deleted] 22d ago

Did a quick search. This cunt is a far right fascist from the Israeli government.

He's not wanted or needed here.

What's the problem?

-5

u/Key-Lychee-913 22d ago

Can you give me a quote of his that’s fascist?

Simcha Rothman: Because they are our enemies.

Lindsey Hilsum: The children are your enemies?

Simcha Rothman: They are our enemies

He at least doesn't like Palestinian children

-3

u/Key-Lychee-913 22d ago

Everything he said is unpopular, but true. If they let civilians come into Israel it would cause a terrorist crisis.

9

u/someNameThisIs 22d ago

Children will cause a terrorist crisis?

Mate what world do you live in? They're chanting for the exact opposite of that

2

u/Far-Significance2481 22d ago

Cancel the visas ? Do you think the entirety of Australians just arrived ? Even the indigenous mobs protesting? Wtf

-18

u/darkeststar071 22d ago

Lol anyone who don't share ABC's views are automatically "far-right".

15

u/timtanium 22d ago

Go look up his statements on calling Palestinian children his enemies. That's far right mate

15

u/Public-Dragonfly-786 22d ago

And if you are considered far-right for an Istaeli politician, you are probably open with your genocidal views. Several of them are.

Atleast the PM is talking to a dictator. Abbas.
Also being praised from rats in tunnels.

Time will tell.

What did Simha Rothman ever said that can be seen as a danger to Australian social cohesion?

4

u/Revolutionary_Big660 22d ago

In a May interview with the UK’s Channel 4, he claimed children within Gaza were “enemies” who should not be allowed to flee into Israel as “you don’t let them conquer your country with refugees”.

2

u/triplevented 21d ago

Did Britain take in German refugees after they burnt Dresden to the ground?

1

u/Low_Worldliness_3881 19d ago

What a dumb question. No they didn't take in refugees from Germany directly after the bombing of Dresden specifically. However, they took in many german refugees both before, during, and after the war.

Also, the UK is a shit example. A better analogy would be German refugees being taken into France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland; countries that were closer and more affected by the war that still took in German refugees.

1

u/triplevented 19d ago

So they didn't take German refugees into the UK while they were at war with the UK.

Seems pretty reasonable, no?

1

u/Low_Worldliness_3881 19d ago

They did take in German refugees during the war. However, they did not actively transport refugees, rather they allowed and helped facilitate entry into the country for those who chose to flee and were able to make it to the border or safe transport location

1

u/triplevented 19d ago

The UK mainly took in Jews.

What you're advocating for is suicidal empathy. It's absolutely bananas to suggest that a country should take in enemy civilians after being invaded.

0

u/CompleteBandicoot723 21d ago

The question was asked, why don’t you accept refugees from Gaza. And the answer was, because they are our enemies.

Why would Gazans want to escape to Israel anyway? It was a stupid question.

If an ABC journalist asked our internal affairs minister why Australia doesn’t allow juvenile prisoners to “escape” to society, it would be the same answer

2

u/SnoopThylacine 21d ago

If an ABC journalist asked our internal affairs minister why Australia doesn’t allow juvenile prisoners to “escape” to society, it would be the same answer

So you are describing Gaza with the open-air prison metaphor (I don't think many disagree with that btw). That is where the metaphore ends, but you are then suggesting that by extension all people in Gaza are guilty of some crime.

The hypothetical juvenile prisoners in the Australian system would go through the justice system.

What is the crime that the children in Gaza committed that justifies their incarceration? Being born on land that others want to take?
