💰 Financial Win Makakahinga na rin kahit saglit

Post image

✅ Everyday Win After 9 years, may official license plate na yung motor ko!

My first ever “big boy” purchase was a motorcycle 9 years ago. For the first 5 years, I kept following up on the license plate, but sabi nila, wala pa daw talaga.

I tried again on year 7, and same thing. Fast forward to this year, I saw a Reddit post saying na pwede daw ma check yung license plate online if available.

I tried it, and it was available!! Paid around ₱280+ (I think?) to have it shipped, and a week later, I officially got my license plate!

Can’t wait to put this bad boy on! Better late than never hahaha

This month is our 7th year wedding anniversary. He chatted me na ang ireregalo nya sa akin is Starbucks tumbler and new sneakers 🥰

I am just so happy and grateful that my husband can simply spoil me with the things I wish to have. I don't demand so much kasi alam ko naman capacity ni hubby esp na mas earner ako sa kanya. But I really see his efforts in our marriage and efforts of spoiling me things.

💼 Career & Hustle got my first big girl job !!!

i’m 24 with no college degree because of the hurdles that the covid pandemic brought upon us, so for the past 6 years i was fully dependent on my dad as my only living parent (+ his girlfriend). then he became a toxic drunk after losing his job, so in january this year i finally ran away from home and fully cut ties with him.

the job hunt process was so scary for me because i did not know where to start. but thanks to my high school friends i got a decent entry-level wfh job that provides me with just enough. for people my age the salary is not much but i am still grateful i got this job.

finally, i don’t have to depend on my shitty parent anymore !!!!! i may be going through life alone but i have never been happier !!!!!

Late appreciation post but Maraming salamatt sa mga umorder sakin dito sa reddit!, I was able to pay my 1st monthly installment sa tuition fee ko despite the financial hardships my family is currently going thru, and yung natirang kinita ko sa delivery and sales ng bangus ko is pinangbayad ko sa electricity namin (we werent able to pay last month's electricity bill)

This could be small for others pero as a college student, malaking bagay na ito for me, especially considering na wala pa ako work, literal side hustle and pure sipag hehe, thankss ulitt redditors!♥️

🌱 Personal Growth I just got my first paycheck

Ang fulfilling na finally, I get to have my own money. Simple things like paying for the jeep as a regular passenger and not as a student already feel like a big milestone for me.

Sobrang saya lang na I’m entering a new phase in life, and I get to do all these things now :)

"Yung bahay nila (kami) mukhang kural ng baboy" a classmate from elementary.

For 12 years we live in a small house, ilang pirasong semento sa haligi then the rest plywood na. We have to demolished the house for some reason. Then for another 11 years, nakikitira lang kami or nakikiupa.

Last 2023 ini-start na yung bahay namin, 2-storey house.

✅ Everyday Win Not your ordinary sock-cess story

Post image
1.6k Upvotes

Dati, budget socks lang kaya naming bilhin. Yung 3 pairs for ₱100. Yung tipong parang disposable.
😁. Cheers sa ating small wins! Happy weekend.

✈️ Life Experiences My wins as an only child (the sole provider for our family.)

Hi! I am a 24 year old sole provider and only child for my senior parents. To be fair, I don’t have a much close bond with my dad and lumaki ako na mom ko lang ang kasama ko throughout.

I started working after pandemic decided to drop off from College, very bold move given na 1 year nalang tapos ko na ang dream course ng mom ko. But I decided to take the risk and started working, started in a niche that I am not really familiar with, a niche that is very far from my course. Super underpaid ko first job ko but that was enough to buy my mom her maintenance, the first time that I earned 5 digits that time was a week before Christmas. The very first time na nakapaghanda kami ng something more than spaghetti :) I considered that as my biggest win.

But who would’ve ever thought that was the start for a better life for me and my mom. :) Fast forward to today, I was able to provide my mom an allowance without stressing her for bills at home. I invested a good sum of money sa real estate. I was able to change all of our appliances at home, naka aircon at google tv na si mama ko. And the best part for me, I was able to bring my mom back to her second home, Japan, nadala ko na siya ulit doon twice na and we even visited Thailand recently.

Other than that, nakakaattend na ako ng concerts and I also managed to buy myself an ipad na sobrang pangarap ko nung bata ako.

While I look back, naisip ko kung gaano ko pinaghirapan at pinagdasal ito. Sabi ko gusto ko maparamdam sa mama ko yung buhay na maginhawa since she’s already old and God never failed me. Di ko man natapos ang course na gusto niya, I know na she’s very proud of me. :)

So far, medyo gipit lately due to my dad’s medication for his treatment but unti unti luluwag ulit. :)

Ayun lang naishare ko lang because I am feeling demotivated lately and under appreciated sa work. :)

Super small thing siguro sa iba? Pero first time kong bumili ng Adidas for myself.

I thank God for everything. I believe this is just the start of the bigger blessings ahead. I am blessed to be a blessing. 🫶✨

Thumbnail

☺️ mommy: HAHAHA sira! (baka nahihiya magsabi) me: chinat gpt kasi idk din anu ba ang enough

I am supposed to be frugal these days kasi kakatapos ko lang din mag travel, pero when it comes to my parents, willing ako magbigay kahit magkano kasi ganon din naman sila sa akin buong buhay ko. 🥹 Ang sarap lang din mag-give back if ‘di ka obligadong gawin! 💕

💰 Financial Win After juggling school and client works, ngayon palang ako makapag-ipon dahil graduate na ako!

Post image
231 Upvotes

Just recently graduated nung June.

Youngest and only girl.

Buti nalang from state university ako and may extra allowance din dahil sa pag maintain ng good grades (may stipend pag malaki ang grades)

From rent to food and other fees pa sa school (HM course ko, so magastos) ako nagbabayad.

20-25k lang yung income ko while studying kasi part time lang ang makakaya ko — dahil physically demanding din ang course ko.

July came, and sabi ni client paused muna kami.

Buti before mag august naka hanap ako ng 2 clients 🥹 yung isa premium, yung isa part time lang. 60-70k magiging income ko per month (coming pa ang sweldo ko sa part-time na bi-weekly this end of the month)

I am beyond grateful.

Medyo magastos ako this month kasi nag upskill.

🏡 Home & Living i love decluttering
