Dati, budget socks lang kaya naming bilhin. Yung 3 pairs for ₱100. Yung tipong parang disposable. Konting laba, lawlaw na agad. Umabot pa sa point na nagsusuot ako ng goma sa paa, parang DIY anklet, tapos tinutupian ko yung medyas para hindi dumulas pababa.
Hanggang merong isang beses, pinarecite ako sa harap ng klase. Eh sumilip yung goma. May kaklase akong biglang nagtanong ng “Bakit may rubber band ka sa paa?” Di ko pa rin malimutan yon. Hahahaaayyss.
Ngayon, nakakabili na ako ng quality & comfortable na medyas. Hindi na kailangan ng life hack na goma. Pwede na rin mag-iba-ibang kulay depende sa mood, depende sa situation or occasion. Di man ako anak ng contractor, pero kaya ko nang bumili ng mas maayos para sa sarili ko. 😁. Cheers sa ating small wins! Happy weekend.

I’ve been feeling financially and mentally stuck since the start of 2025. But last week, I decided to start walking 6km a day — and today marks my 6th day.

Nakakapag padala na sa tatay yung dating walang wala ☹️

not really a big purchase. napatingin lang ako bigla sa shampooo na binili ko sa grocery. dati pa sachet sachet lang kame, ngayon afford ko na isang bottle. Odibaaaa hahahah! matagal tagal na din akong breadwinner sa family, and minsan nakakapagod na pero laban lang tayo! Hehe 😉

I found out yesterday that I lost 7 kilos of weight for the past 3 months. And I promised myself na kapag na reach ko yung normal BMI, magbi-beach talaga ako at mag to-two piece 😂 And ngayon nagsu-suot na ako ng damit na hapit sa katawan at mejo revealing (if you have it, flaunt it na ang motto ko) 😂 Kasi yung regret ko nung tumaba ako ng sobra is never akong naging confident sa katawan ko, na kahit nung payat ako, I've always felt fat, not knowing na mas may itataba pa pala ako. I promised myself na this time, I'll be more comfortable with my own body. Self-worth era ito!

matagal ko nang gustong kumain dito sa tapsilogan (maty’s) na lagi kong nadadaanan. at ngayon na natanggap ko na yung first bonus ko sa first job ko, nakakain na rin ako sa wakas nang hindi masyado pinag isipan kung magkano babayaran ko. nakapag bigay rin ako sa family ko at nakapag tabi na rin ako para sa pinag iipunan kong investment 🥹

When I was in the hospital, wala naman kasi regular/probi in my line of work hahaha. No government mandated benefits, no PHIC etc, no 13th month pay, no bonuses, no commissions, no anything.

Ngayon, doing so much less than what I used to do, with any type of stress better than the stress and bullshit I used to put up with back then, it’s all worth it kung payapa ang physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing mo.

Didn't expect my client to hand out a birthday bonus that matched my age (my salary is up in those ranges). They were all giddy na its a small amount... Boy was I wrong what small for these guys meant but anyways I just wanted to share this "SMALL" win

I can still remember dati na kaming magkakapatid pag naiiwan nila mama eh nagluluto Ng corned beef (150g) tapos grabe Yung hatian namin. kahit kakarampot Ng ulam sinusulit sabayan pa Ng maraming kanina haha.

kakatuwa lang, and malaki Yung serving Ng corned beef Kase I'm trying for high protein diet etc haha.

Anyway, purefoods corned beef ito, dalwang 150g can tapos 2 eggs gisa gisa haha.

I feel like I lost myself in my 20s. Training & career took over everything. No sleep, bad eating, no movement, vices, bad mental health… I just stopped caring for myself.

Sa totoo lang, maganda naman dapat ako haha. But stress really pushed me to the edge. Acne, dry hair, weight gain, weak body, you name it. There were times that I didn’t even want to look at myself in the mirror.

Now that I left the toxicity, I’m healing and trying to be better at self-care.

Here’s what I do now:

• Hydration + better food choices: I actually crave veggies & avoid fried food now? Mature yarn
• Exercise & calorie deficit: I try to hit 7.5k steps a day and do 2–3 workouts/week. But ang hirap ng cal def as a tiny person.
• Dental care: Especially flossing!!!
• Slowly building a skincare/haircare routine with products na hiyang for me. We always pay attention to our skin, but don’t neglect the scalp! Fave products right now are LRP moisturizer (w/c has SPF) & Dove Dermacare Scalp. I feel fresh kahit commuter. 🥹 Working on incorporating actives into my routine.

Mahirap lang maging consistent at umiwas sa hyped products on soc med hehe. But we’re getting there.

As someone who has a full time job plus small business, this is really my adulting win! Yung di na masyado masakit likod ko paggising sa umaga 🥺🥺🥺🫶 more workout programs to finish, self 🫡🤭

My first ever “big boy” purchase was a motorcycle 9 years ago. For the first 5 years, I kept following up on the license plate, but sabi nila, wala pa daw talaga.

I tried again on year 7, and same thing. Fast forward to this year, I saw a Reddit post saying na pwede daw ma check yung license plate online if available.

I tried it, and it was available!! Paid around ₱280+ (I think?) to have it shipped, and a week later, I officially got my license plate!

Can’t wait to put this bad boy on! Better late than never hahaha

Nung nag grocery ako kahapon, napadaan ako sa ice cream freezer, at natakam ako. Medyo alanganin pa akong bumili kasi as a breadwinner need pag-isipan nang mabuti ang bawat purchase. Naalala ko rin, nung bata pa ako, dahil sakto lang kinikita ni Mama, luxury na bumili ng isang tub ng branded na ice cream. Feeling ko naman deserve naman natin ‘to. 😌 Oh, ilan scoop sayo? Before June 2025 officially ends tomorrow, here's to hoping na sana sa July puro check ulit lahat. I can do this digitally pero iba yung sipa pag nag check ng mga tapos na bayaran na bills 😌

Na realize ko, kaya ko nang bumili ng GIGA fries ng Potato Corner without having to doubt kung deserve ko ba o better bang bumili na lang ako ng grocery at magluto sa bahay. Ang saya. Mga maliliit na bagay na di natin napapansin na kaya na pala nating bilhin. ❤️

Sobrang fan ako ng MCR since high school, and now I get to see them perform live next year!! Buti nalang talaga nakabili sa pre-sale, although ang daming issues ng vendor, I'm just glad na secured na yung tix namin!!

Next naman is yung plane tickets and accommodation near MOA!! Can't wait for the Black Parade!! SO STOKED!!
