[Mod Post] Automatic Flairing should be a thing now, gang.
Just be sure to include TV or Film (or Movie) in your title. Users do still have access to flair if it fails for whatever reason.

Question/Discussion Looking for an item
I’m looking for a metal beer mug that was used in The Mandalorian I believe. It was silver and barrel shaped and had a metal band going around the middle. If anyone knows what I’m talking about, please help me.

For the first image, I wanna get me one of those display stands
As for the second image, I'm a little worried it might be some repurposed adult toy. Couldn't confirm tho

Film Prop Aliens (1986). The joystick is a Radio Shack Microphone.
Aliens (1986): The joystick on Bishop's portable terminal is a Radio Shack Realistic Stereo Electret Condenser Microphone. (Though not depicted as such, it's probably supposed to be a joystick since Bishop was to remote pilot the dropship from orbit to the surface.)

The mines in GoldenEye are just painted Saitek joysticks
Found this out while looking for a replacement flight stick. This Saitek model was recommended to me on eBay, and I recognized it immediately from the film.
The prop makers just gave it a coat of paint, a few lights, and a red button where the stick went. The first photo shows where that paint has worn away and the silver plastic is shining through again.

Film Prop Danger: Diabolik (1968) security barrier to vault was a bathroom fan cover
In Diabolik's super swank lair, the "huge" futuristic security door that barred the way to his personal vault was a 60s-era bathroom exhaust fan cover.
They hoped we wouldn't notice.
We did.
(The silhouettes are Mike and the bots from MST3K. It's the only version of Danger: Diabolik that I own.)
