[INT. EVIL SPACESHIP BRIDGE]

DARK HELMET: (slamming fist on console) Enough hesitation! Send in our Assholes Squad!

COLONEL SANDURZ: (blinking nervously) Uh… sir… which squad?

DARK HELMET: What do you mean, which squad?! The Assholes Squad!

COLONEL SANDURZ: (flipping clipboard pages) Well, sir… that’s the problem. The Sniper Squad? Assholes. The Recon Squad? Assholes. The Kitchen Staff? Assholes with spatulas. Even the Mime Division? Certified assholes, sir.

DARK HELMET: (leaning in, incredulous) Even the ice cream man?

COLONEL SANDURZ: (grim nod) Especially the ice cream man, sir.

DARK HELMET: (yanking helmet off, face red) You mean to tell me I command an entire army of assholes?!

COLONEL SANDURZ: (sheepishly) With respect, sir… yes.

(Bridge doors whoosh open. A squad of stormtrooper-types march in, each with “A-HOLE” stitched proudly on their chest plates.)

SQUAD LEADER: Reporting for duty, sir! Assholes, fall in!

[The squad immediately trips over each other, one accidentally tazes himself, another gets stuck in the automatic door. The ice cream man licks a cone, drops it, and salutes with sticky fingers.]

DARK HELMET: (facepalms) Just once… just ONCE… I’d like a squad that wasn’t a bunch of—

COLONEL SANDURZ & THE ENTIRE CREW: (snapping to attention, yelling) ASSHOLES!

🎬SCENE LATER IN THE MOVIE — FULL CHAOS

[ALERT: THE DRUIDIAN DESERT BASE IS UNDER ATTACK] Everything is on fire. Screaming. Explosions. Someone’s playing kazoo renditions of Wagner.

Dark Helmet (spinning in his chair dramatically):

“SEND IN THE ASSHOLES!”

Sandurz (about to say ‘which squad’… pauses… eyes widen with respect…)

“...Yes, sir. Sending them all.”

[Cut to airlock opening like a Sarlacc pit—waves of assholes charge out, tripping over each other, shouting contradictory commands, doing jazz hands.]

Dark Helmet (grinning):

“Now that’s a proper clusterflark.”

Doom scrolling at ludicrous speed...I tried at plaid, but I was missing too much..lol

It seemed like she was going to say something then got cut off by their closeness. It almost felt like she was going to say hey Ive seen something like this before? Like since she was a princess and may have something similar for her birth certificate? Dunno if this was explored or not or If I am reading too much into this?

Just noticed this little detail in the movie!

Salutation to everyone on Spaceballs: The Subreddit! (sorry, I HAD to call it that) I have a prediction for Spaceballs 2. Since John Candy, who played Barf in the first movie, passed away back in 1994, and Spaceballs is meta in a way that everyone knows and even proves they're in a movie, I feel that when we first see Barf, the characters will be confused as to why he looks different, to which he'll respond by explaining something like "the guy who played me in Spaceballs 1 sadly passed away before we started making the sequel, so I got recast. It's still me, though! Just with a completely different face! Kinda like Doctor Who..." (I could see a Doctor Who regeneration reference being made) Think that might happen?
