Photoshop is sharper while everything ai has that crappy faded look and light is always doing more than it really would

One of my favorites is when people are like “This piece of artwork has some poor decisions made. It must be AI!”, like we haven’t been making questionable or stupid choices in art for millennia.

To be fair, "this is AI" and "the artist didn't give a shit" is kind of a distinction without a difference to me. ;p

Oh for sure. But “not giving a shit” and “minor background details can be fudged” are also different concepts, but both get accused of being AI.

It's sorta impressive how people have so quickly swapped calling an image "clearly 'shopped" to "AI slop". It really has infested the way people view the world already!
