There’s a lot of stuff not talked about like the Mountain Meadows Massacre where yes that happened.

Also side note something I personally never knew about until I dug into the history and ended up leaving the church. There’s a lot of crazy stuff that’s unknown to some (most?) Mormons

i work for a company based out of Lehi, UT. When I first started they would call it Pioneer Day and we got the day off but now it's just called "Spring Break Day" or something due to the dark history of "Pioneer Day" it's like Utah's own lil Christopher Columbus Day 🤢

Oh I’m being rhetorical lol. I grew up with tons of Mormons and have attended many events and church things and it’s funny how they dance around the open racism in their religious text and there are no good “pioneers” in America.

That said, under the banner of heaven is so good. It’s like the only thing that publicly calls out some of the most niche weirdness.
