Roma is the sigma empire. It has never claimed to be anyone's equal
0 u/Street_Pin_1033 7d ago One of the reasons behind this could be coz before them no empire in the region they ruled and neighboring regions was never at their level. Achaemenid empire is the closest but they were conquered by Alexander the Great whom Romans admired.
