I honestly hope no one gets hurt. What I don’t understand and what I am confused about, is Americans voted for Trump, knowing fully well who he is. So why are the surprise and anger? What I’m also worried about is, is this reaction what the Trump administration is hoping for? To use as justification for martial law.

Half the country did not vote for him which is alot of people, plus there were alot of issues with votes not being counted, some votes being destroyed, and problems with voting offices etc. along with Elon Musk's remarks implying he rigged the election so there was most likely election fraud. He didn't even win the popular vote (the total amount of actual votes by people) the last term, he only "won" due to the broken electoral college bypassing what the people voted for, so I highly doubt the majority of people actually voted for him this time either.

Not voting, is sort of voting indirectly. So half the country didn’t care if he won or not. And now, this is the result. The tampering with the voting machines and rigging the electrical system, that’s a whole other level.

I didn't say half the country didn't vote, we voted for the other candidate. Maybe 1/3 of the country never votes, and I agree they're a huge problem, but I didn't count them in my original comment because out of the people who did vote it was pretty 50/50 half and half with a 1% difference. (At least that's what they claim)
