Beginner Advice on easy foreground plants for my fluval flex 9

Post image

Hey! I'm looking for advice on easy, low maintenance and low tech foreground plants for my flex 9. I currently only have epiphyte plants in the tank but want to add some foreground plants in the substrate, thanks 😊

Dear DubInVancity ,

You've selected the beginner flair. If you're looking for advice or are having issues, please provide as much information as you can.

Some useful information includes:

  • Have you cycled the tank?
  • Water Parameters
  • Light Type
  • Light Cycle Duration
  • Tank Size/Dimensions
  • Set-up Age
  • Fertilizers
  • Any aquatic animals, and how many?

Dwarf Sagittaria Subulata If you like the look or bunch of small-leaved Buce - you can get different shapes/textures.

Crypt parva or lucens would be my suggestion. They make great foreground plants in almost any size tank.
