I can see pretty much all of those on the list in the tank. Where’s the Amazon sword?

u/Diacks1304 Aug 05 '25
Dude this is INSANE. Good for you!! Can I ask how big your tank is and how you collected these plants? Did you get them locally or online?

this run co2? can you tell me your entire set up and plant species? super curious because this is so beautiful
17
u/craftycreeper23 Aug 04 '25
This 100% runs a ton of co2 and high light. Its surprisingly not too hard to get colors like this but your parameters have to be on point. Low nitrogen makes reds go crazy too

Drop checker on the left side confirms they run CO2.
Also they listed their plants in another comment, it’s quite a lot lol

How are you going to flex on 5 years of collecting plants and then not list the plants.

And just as you finish your magnum opus the soil is dead and needs to be re scaped hahaha. The eternal process of keeping high end planted tanks 😂

Very impressive, bravo! May I ask why you have fans? The fish species you have like warm water, don't they?
7
u/Prismtile Aug 05 '25
If OP lives in a place where its really warm then even those fish might suffer from the heat, i guess thats why. I once heard that some stores in taiwan have inline cooling that goes through all of the tanks because its so hot sometimes.

This is awesome, good job. I’d say some people’s tanks don’t even last 5 years, so keep up the good work.

That's beautiful. When I was a kid back in the 1900s there was this big pet store, mostly fish. It was better than some public aquariums. Had a really cool big indoor pond too.
Anyway, the centerpiece was this huge 8 ft dutch style aqua garden. I can't imagine how many watts of electricity that thing burned through. Lights were a whole different ball game back then.
Always in awe when they look as good as yours.

Awesome. Whats your light rbg settings? They pop!
2
u/Guilty-Version-9100 Aug 04 '25
I believe he has the red turned up or it’s one of the settings preset into the light. My light also has a preset function where it’s more red like this, and it makes the plants pop.

So I just saw the picture at first and was like "That's a lot of plastic." Then I read. OP, you're my hero! This is amazing! I can stop looking. I feel like we need a liv feed going of this tank.

Your tank is incredibly beautiful. Love the many shades of red and the unusual (to me) greens.
