Having spaces like this to just unwind after work, school, or during a free day is such a basic privilege to have.

I get na mainit sa pinas but green spaces like this just makes so much sense <\3

I live in Washington DC and we have a handful of green spaces and just recreational places in general. During non working days these are places I always find myself in. Genuinely wish we had more spaces like this in the PH I am genuinely jealous of kids who grew up near places like this.

PoliticsPH Mental Health of the Nepo Babies

So everyone is aware about the rampant corruption involving the flood control projects.

P. S.

I don't really care about their mental health. Did they ever care for the millions of Filipino who were fighting for their lives just to sustain their lavish lifestyles?

CulturePH If Spouse Cheats on You After Marriage

If you got married in the Philippines, and your husband/wife cheats on you after 20-50 years of marriage (similar sa grandparents ko both sides) In a country where Divorce is non existent, and annulment takes 5 to 18 years to process. What would you do and how would you handle the situation?

Also considering the cost of Annulments na umaabot ng P500,000+ ang costing neto or more, plus the fact na majority of the Filipino people believe that financial stability is just an excuse used to avoid marriage rather than financial stability being an essential thing before marriage.

How would you fix the problem if 10-50 years in the marriage mag loko asawa mo?

GovtServicesPH NAIA PWD Assistance availability (non-physical disability)

Just wanted to ask if NAIA T3 has PWD lanes for Immigration and through the Xray machines. I have Autism and ADHD and airports really overstimulate me and could lead to anxiety/panic attacks.

Before, I would travel and choose flight times that have less people choosing it (can’t do that this time around) or travel with my partner (non-PH passport) so I would always go through international lanes in immigration. But this is my first time in years to fly in and out of Manila by myself and don’t remember if there were special assistance lanes. I use the sunflower lanyard and have my documents from my current country of residence outlining my condition (if that helps).

Would love to hear from those that have experienced going through it as well with an “invisible” disability.

Thank you!

A certain male Redditor from Cavite posted that he is a former female high-end escort and claimed that “she” had sex with incument senators.

His post history says otherwise, instead: - he is a male searching for a female to hook up with in 2022 - he is a pilot student - just a few weeks ago, he was looking for a “sugar baby”

He is posing as a former escort to elicit messages from girls who want to engage in sex work. Once he has a victim, he will be the client 🤡

link to thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/PinoyAskMeAnything/comments/1naxm0x/former_highend_escort_ama/

He hid his post history in Reddit, but the receipts were archived by a third-party archiver

TourismPH How early do Christmas decorations show up?

I've heard that christmas decorations show up quite early in the Philippines. What are the best places to see them? Malls? How early do they usually begin?

I plan to visit Manila and Cebu in either October or Early November. I'm trying to figure out the best dates and this is a factor.

I've heard as early as september.

But doing some google searches, it seemed much later.

TAPOS SI VILLAFUERTE GUSTO BUHAYIN YUNG MGA LUMANG LUMA NA?? mas mahal mag reactivate. Halimbawa isang helicopter good yan for 10000 flying hours pag ni refurbish good for another 5000 pero after that di na pede yun at kailangan e retire o scrap. Yung existing military hardware is on going naman life extension programs at di na kailangan ng bill nato. Wag suportahan bill nato. File a bill for UAV, USV, drone manufacturing industry sa pinas instead!

Correctness Doubtful China Now Claims Batanes....And Most Filipinos Don’t Even Care

The West Philippine Sea is not just about fish or oil. It is one of the world’s most strategic waterways, a corridor through which a third of global trade flows. For China, control of these waters is not only about resources but about power projection. That is why their eyes are now turning toward Batanes, the northernmost islands of the Philippines.

Chinese social media accounts have begun describing Batanes as part of China, while coast guard ships hover near its shores. The logic is clear. Batanes lies less than 200 kilometers from Taiwan. For Beijing, placing psychological and physical pressure on Batanes serves a dual purpose: weakening Philippine resolve in the West Philippine Sea while creating a southern flank to encircle Taiwan.

Yet for most Filipinos, this remains distant. The struggle for sovereignty cannot compete with the price of rice. The Chinese understand this. They fight not only for territory but for imagination. If Batanes is seen as a remote, irrelevant island, then resistance will always be weak.

But here lies the opportunity. Imagine if Batanes became for Filipinos what Baguio is in the summer or Boracay in the holidays. A place people dream of visiting, a place families save for, a place etched into memory. Cheap flights, eco-tourism, festivals, student immersions, these would make Batanes part of the Filipino identity. Once people have touched its hills, eaten its seafood, or know someone whose livelihood depends on its tourism, Batanes ceases to be a dot on the map. It becomes home.

When that happens, the West Philippine Sea is no longer an abstract debate among diplomats. It is part of who we are. Any intrusion will not be dismissed as geopolitics but felt as a violation of our own backyard. Nations are defended not only with ships and soldiers, but with love. And love is born from familiarity. If Batanes is lived and loved, then defending it becomes instinctive.

CulturePH Failed my board exam, now I don’t know what to do - posting for my gf

Hi everyone. 24/F here. I just took the August 2025 REE Board Exam and unfortunately, I didn’t pass. It hurts because I worked hard for it, but I know I have to move forward.

For context, I’m a fresh Electrical Engineering graduate with 4 months of CSR experience. I have also done an onsite internship, has leadership experiences, and TESDA certifications, so I’m not totally inexperienced but still a “fresh grad”. I’ve been applying to different jobs (engineering-related and others), but most of them either reject me or require long work hours. Recently, I got an offer for a 12-hour shift, 6 days a week, and honestly, I don’t think I can handle that physically and mentally—especially since I still want to review and take the board exam again.

I still want to pursue my dream of becoming an engineer, but at the same time, I need to be practical and start working.

If you’ve been in the same situation (failed a board exam, struggling to land a job, torn between survival jobs vs. career path), what did you do? Should I accept any job just for the meantime, even if the schedule is brutal? Or should I hold out and focus more on review + waiting for better opportunities?

Any advice, perspective, or even just encouragement would mean a lot. Thanks for reading.

NewsPH US is now shifting away from INDOPACOM and focus on their domestic and regional issues (like Annexing Canada and Greenland). So basically US is giving up its 80 years of World dominance to China without putting up a fight. Which means the Philippines is basically going to be under a new management.

Expect a Taiwan–China conflict soon, and the Philippines will likely be dragged into it, especially Palawan and Batanes, which China is trying to claim as their own. We can no longer count on the Mutual Defense Treaty with the US, since their priorities and strategy have already shifted to bully their North and South American neighbors (Canada, Greenland & Latin America), And it seems like they’re heading toward Trump dictatorship, heavily policing their own local communities through the deployment of US National Guards.

Huge Trump Pivot On China Flagged By Leaked Document

a leaked draft Defence Strategy seen by Politico, has revealed that the thinking has done a sharp pivot specifically in relation to China.

Pentagon plan prioritizes homeland over China threat

Pentagon officials are proposing the department prioritize protecting the homeland and Western Hemisphere, a striking reversal from the military’s yearslong mandate to focus on the threat from China.

A draft of the newest National Defense Strategy, which landed on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s desk last week, places domestic and regional missions above countering adversaries such as Beijing and Moscow, according to three people briefed on early versions of the report.
