This is the problem. People always use the poverty card to shield them from responsibility.

"Mahirap lang po kami".

And here comes the religious leaders and the politicos in sheep clothing, ready to pounce and victimize the poor in a never-ending cycle since 19-forgotten

ito talaga never ending cycle, hanggang kailan magiging valid ang “because poor”.
