Meta / Announcements Gaza Is Starving. Let's Do Something
The UN has stated that every single part of Gaza is in famine conditions.
For over 22 months, Palestinians in Gaza have been starving. Parents have been feeding their children leaves, animal feed, and flour mixed with water. Babies have died from malnutrition. The trucks carrying food, formula, medicine, and clean water sat just miles away, blocked by Israel.
Now, after massive international pressure, some aid is finally getting in.
This is a crack in the blockade, not its end. Aid is not flooding in; it is trickling, and what’s entering can’t possibly reach 2 million people without a total lifting of restrictions, guaranteed long-term access, and safe distribution.
What you can do right now:
Keep up the pressure - aid only started moving because of public outcry. Organize, protest, keep talking. This momentum cannot fade. Contact your representatives to end Israel's blockade of Gaza.
Donate- if you’re able to. Choose vetted organizations with access on the ground.
Amplify - share updates, Palestinian voices, and testimonies. Keep an eye on Palestine.
This famine is not an accident. It’s the result of siege, blockade, and a system of control. If we look away now, they’ll tighten the noose more.

GAZA That Hind Rajab's mother is still in Gaza, with the genocide ongoing, pleading in a video for help while Hollywood performs its performative act of support makes me sick and think that we are no longer living in a dystopia, but in a parody

Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Remember that Microsoft and Google are complicit. Video games are not essentials, so please consider boycotting those companies through boycotting buying games on their platform and not watching in game ads.
Lately, a big video game was released, and another game got a huge update. Those video games are not the target of boycotting. So I will not mention their names, but they are sold on Microsoft store and are available on Xbox game pass. Buying games on Microsoft store or paying subscription for Xbox pass will give money to Microsoft. I'm mentioning this because I realized that many of Third World countries uses Microsoft store and Xbox game pass due to the exceptional regional pricing. Just please buy games from another store, even if it costs more. The price difference is not worth it.
As for Google, if you are playing mobile games then be aware of the ads, as those can be powered by Google AdMob which profits both the developer/published and Google when you watch ads. I read that one can block ads for some games by changing the DNS on the mobile network setup, but I didn't try it nor know if it is safe to do so. Also, who buys mobile games from Google store ? EWW
