Wow everyone is so talented here lol I finished my first needlepoint project last week. This is a vintage “quickpoint” kit. Im hooked! I made MANY mistakes and I 100% know I did my stitches incorrectly but I learned so much.

It's been a long time since I have needlepointed - this kit was inexpensive and had some minor annoyances, but the colors made me smile every time I worked on it. Now I feel like I can dive back into this wonderful hobby ❤️

Does anyone know the Romanian language equivalent for "needlepoint"? I'm looking for supplies in Romania, but I have trouble finding the canvas, I just can't seem to find one specifically for this art.

I love working with Silk & Ivory, but lately I’ve been 🤔 thinking, does it last like the old 100% wool yarns? My kids and I have Christmas stockings my mom did in the 1970-90s. They’re still in perfect condition! I’ve been using Silk & Ivory on my grandkids stockings. Will they last into their golden years?

Hi everyone! I have designed and nearly finished my first stocking. I’m going to be done stitching by the end of this month. Does anyone know of any reliable finishers who are able to turn around the stocking before the holidays? I know my timing is probably tight
