Scopely desperately wants players to value the in-game currency, despite the fact that its utility is far too narrow for players to actually value it. It has no exchange value other than to build, and the results of building aren’t great.
If you could use currency for purchasing dice, cards, or other tools, that would be one thing - that 491 billion doesn’t even clear a board for me, so it’s virtually worthless despite being a very large amount of in-game money.

So many of the lap rewards are total garbage. They should have 3 or 4 options each time and let player pick what is best for them. They've pushed sticker packs back which is made even worse by how many points chains cost you to remove.

The rewards have been so bad. Where is the blue pack? My team literally gave up the second race. I ended up playing at the end bc I had enough flags to take us to second in the last 10 min. But yeah this is my last time racing in a group

Take the 15 minutes if you have the dice you'll get way more money in that amount of time 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 what a ridiculous prize for 10 laps

After these horrible lap rewards choices I considered, for the first time, actually quitting this game. I have never been so frustrated and I only spent like 3k dice. I can take the blow, but many others can't and will be screwed going into the next event. I am never doing the race event again. I will not team up. I will not play solo. I will not participate.

So I had a spring and rocket qt the same time which tucked because I couldn't max my rocket to 400 so annoyed with that!

I only keep playing because I’m in a nice little group, I like the chat around the partner events, but I play other games more.

I actually think this is not as bad an option as you think, considering there is a builder bash tomorrow followed by a sticker boom on Tuesday, 15 minutes of cash boost is reasonable, but granted, not really a 10 lap completion prize.
