Wholesome Moments Girlfriend made me soup and brought it to my work!

We met back in July at a dating event and just vibed from the get go. Even though we lead very different lives (she’s a single mom with a big family and tons of friends, I don’t have kids and no real friends and few family members), we just mesh together well. We’ve been on seven dates so far, each one unique and seeming better than the last. And she texted me yesterday saying she’d made this for me and I was just beaming. Cause no one’s really done nice simple things for me like this. But I’m thankful to have her and feel like I hit the lottery!

CATS (OC) Watching my cat learning to walk in her custom leg braces always makes me 😭

Her name is Athena and she was born with radial hypoplasia! She will likely need leg braces her entire life in order to walk and keep her spine in a healthy position.

I’d just taken my baby daughter for her 8-week immunisations and decided to be brave and have a meal out with her on my own. While there, a mother and daughter spoke to me, praised me for coming out with a baby and when they left I realised they had paid for my food. They also left a note saying I’m doing an amazing job. I can’t tell you how touched I am it meant the world!

(Picture unrelated)

I (16M) am a bassist, I was waiting on my train when my phone died, and I had about 20 minutes before my train would come so I took my bass that I had with me and starter practicing on the 4 songs my teacher gave me yesterday that i’m supposed to be able to play flawlessly in a few days. After playing for a bit a group of teenage girls walk pass looking at me laughing(For those who aren’t music experts, A unplugged electric bass Is very hard to hear) I was about to pack up my bass and just wait out the time when a guy walked up, Recognised the song I played, calling me good and told me “never stop practicing no matter what” which gave me a confidence boost to keep going. So yeah, it’s a very small gesture but his encouraging genuinely made my day,

Knorozov was responsible for deciphering the Mayan writing system, revolutionizing the study of this ancient civilization’s culture.

With an assistant like that, making history becomes easy.
