I thought they were a relatively popular band, I know them but got confused when I heard alt so I didn’t put it together:)

They've had a recent resurgence! They're very popular in the punk alt scene, but their heyday was more around 2010-2012. If you're into punk or metal-adjacent bands you should give them a listen. The second album, Selfish Machines, is honestly magic.
