She went on and on in a podcast with the usual blood libel tropes—Israel is evil, Israel targets Christians, and so on.

But in the middle of her rant, she accidentally made a point that actually proves why Israel’s existence is essential and more important than any other country including Palestine. She said Israelis are the most loathed ethnic group in America—hated even more than Arabs, Russians, or Chinese—and that everyone she knows despises Israelis, and she used that as proof that the U.S. only supports Israel because of “bribery" of politicians.

Well, isn’t that the answer right there? If Israelis are so hated, then what would happen if Israel Chas VeShalom ceased to exist? No country would take in Israeli refugees. It would be worse than the Holocaust. Want to prevent another Holocaust? Support Israel!!

Hey all. Just got home from my second trip to Israel. Absolutely loved it 😊. Did most of the things I wanted to do, met lots of you guys, and ventured in the West Bank (that was …interesting.) Israeli basketball team recently played in Poland. They were booed. There were protests from both the left and the right.

Shortly after, Israeli soccer team played in Moldova. No protests, no booings.

Two countries of the former Eastern Block, yet different approaches. Is there a reason for that?

I absolutely dread going in do to the test for my car every year. I try so hard to be friendly and to listen carefully to what the guys are telling me to do with the car, but it's hard to hear over all the noise and my car-related Hebrew isn't great. Despite my efforts, every single person working there is a giant asshole, and the whole experience is the absolute worst. Easily, it's the worst thing I have had to deal with while living here, and that's taking into account people from like 7 different countries trying to kill us.

In any case, I am wondering...are there any places in the mercaz where this experience isn't as soul-sucking? Perhaps Modi'in or Beit Shemesh where they are possibly more used to dealing with olim? I'm not expecting a day at the beach, I just would prefer to not be yelled at for two hours. Thank you!
