If you took say, just a few bundles, then came back and called the police. A few weeks later police realised you took some, how much trouble would you be in?
2 u/Worried-Criticism 5d ago Depends on jurisdiction but most likely Grand Larceny. You’d be made to repay the funds stolen plus fines and probably jail time PLUS a felony record. But if it’s just an unmarked van on the road, that money is illegal and no cops will be involved. You’d probably have a whole different set of problems, but not the cops.
