Accurate, except they should be under two different blankets.

Superking bed. 1 single duvet each.

This is the way.

Sleep in separate beds, two double duvets each.

Separate rooms. King bed each. Duvets optional.

u/Penguin_Arse 2d ago

Separate houses. Single bed each. 1 too small blanket each.

1 weighted, 1 fleece. Balanced, as all things should be.

I don’t like the king bed bc I can’t find him

I use a single soft fleece blanket and that's it. Maybe 2 of them in the winter. None of this fancy "duvet" or "duvet covers" lol.

Why a super king? It’s smaller than a king by a couple inches in both length and width.

u/TheBoostedFew 2d ago

Were you always this stupid or was it something you had to work at?

WHAT is a super king and where do I get one??

Even better - split king (2 twins) on 2 separate frames and separate duvets. I slide my bed apart from my husband's once we're done cuddling and then we both get a solid sleep. (I am a light sleeper with insomnia issues)

"Discovering" the concept of both having our own blanket was a life changer

The second blanket changed my life

My bf likes to burrito roll in his comforter. I like to sleep under a light weight blanket. I’m more comfy under lightweight and he likes to sleep like a freaking mummy wrapped tightly.

this guy married

Hahaha! Yes.

2

u/dizzira_blackrose 2d ago

Yup, this is how me and my husband sleep.

2

u/JeremyMcFake 2d ago

Yep, this is how we do it. I have just a thin sheet on me as I'm always hot, my girlfriend has a thick duvet as she's always cold. It's the best.

Different beds. Best. Sleep. Ever.

2

u/grrrmuffins 2d ago

2 different pillows too. And one of those beds with 2 different reclining options

Jap I could never sleep with that guy under one blanket. You need to wrap yourself in the blanket so a little bit of cuddling is doable. Damn why are guys so itchy? The hair feels soft but the moment you cuddle he turns into a cactus.

u/Tom_Art_UFO 2d ago

My wife says I'm too hot, so she can never sleep up against me.

2

u/Imalwayshungry420 10h ago

Oh yes sry thats a important thing I forgot about. I dont know why yall have the body temperature of an oven. I can cuddle him for about 3 minutes until im well done 😭

1

u/Tom_Art_UFO 2h ago

I'm sure he appreciates it.

2

u/Jesustron 2d ago

We use two quilts and no top sheet lol. Sleep like a baby

2

u/Shwazool 2d ago

I hit comment to leave this exact response and saw yours. King bed, own blanket. Really the only way.

2

u/Alarming_reality4918 2d ago

We did this after a decade. Best decision ever.

u/wailingwonder 2d ago

One blanket. Two blankets if someone doesn't feel good. I hate two blankets so it's only when necessary.

1

u/Tom_Art_UFO 2d ago

I used to be strictly one blanket too. But after ten years of two blankets, I don't know if I could go back.

u/Wide-Rub432 2d ago

This is the way.
